Not user friendly

Very clunky and inconvenient.

Outdated

I find this app very outdated. Most reviews on places to camp are 5 years old or even older. Also I can not add all my waypoints that I have marked on google maps, it says “not found”. I don’t believe Roadtrippers to be accurate. That’s a game changer for me. Not to mention the price!

The best road trip planning app

I would give five stars but I am Canadian and I wish I could change the currency to Canadian dollars. So I know what the estimated cost would be without having to do the conversion myself! Whenever that comes, I’ll change it to a 5 star!! Everything else is amazing and it has helped me plan many cross country road trips!

Accessibility issue: dark mode withheld.

Dark mode withheld for a trial of a premium subscription? You do realize the no-strings *actual* free part of the user’s assessment is being denied to those that can’t use it due to the contrast? By all means - promise me the Earth if I sign up for the limited free trial, but I can’t even use the general very-limited free version. :(

Good till it froze

The app froze so I had to delete and reinstall and all planning is lost. Screw it. Subscribed for one week free trial and it charged me for the first month anyways. Now have to get a refund. Well use paper map.

Not usable unless you pay

You can’t do anything on this app unless you pay. But the average person goes on a roadtrip like once or twice a year. Why would you pay $50/yr for that. There are other, better apps that are free. Skip this one.

Doesn’t offer camping options

Trip of a lifetime

We used this app to take a 15,000km trip around Canada & USA. I doubt we would have been able to see all we were able to see if not for this app. Heading off to do a 12k km trip around the Gulf with the help of this app! Thank you

Locked up all my old trips

Loved this app, used it for years then they decided to lock down the amount of “free way points” you could have on a trip. Ok fine, we adjusted. Now all our old trips we had kept for memories are locked down so we can’t even look at them anymore without paying. Trash
