## Roady Description
Finding things to do in new places can be tough. We got sick of Googling “best things to do in XYZ” and finding the same results each time. We wanted local knowledge, the walks, waterfalls, swimming holes and viewpoints that we didn’t know existed. But finding these, let alone getting any reliable information on them to plan an NZ or AUS road trip, isn’t easy.

So Roady set out with a mission to give travellers easy access to local knowledge, no matter where they are.

After years of travelling around the country capturing content and learning about these places, we’ve built a travel app that includes our favourite spots and key information that we would have wanted in one place.

Tick off experiences as you travel the country, earning badges and climbing the leaderboard along the way.

By ticking off an experience, you’ll create a record of your travels on your profile map. Upload a photo, leaving a rating and sharing a tip to provide your own local knowledge for others.

I just downloaded the app. The first thing that comes up is a survey to help “customize” your experience. This is obvious data harvesting which is fine but the problem is, is when I finish the survey then press submit, nothing happens. The submit button doesn’t work so the survey stays up and it stops you from using the app until you do the survey but won’t let you submit the survey because it faulty. So one star until they fix that bug and I can actually use the app.

No option to try the app or even see it working before you needed to pay for a subscription. With so many choices of apps, it was easier to just delete it and move on to the next one.

I love ticking places off on this app and adding places I find that aren’t on it. So much fun! What I do love the most is that when I am looking for something to do the reviews are pretty thorough and the pictures help a lot! I recommend this app to all the people that hire my campervan :-)

Couldn’t recommend this app enough. I’m lucky to be living in New Zealand, and this just opens up so many opportunities to spots I never knew existed. It’s well designed, and very educational when it comes to finding the right travel spot for your needs. It’s great they have recently expanded across to Australia, and are now building their content and travel lists across the ditch. To anyone thinking of visiting NZ/AUS, or are currently a resident, this is a MUST HAVE app for daily travels.

When you don’t know what to do in this country (since there are so many things to do), this app is the answer. Not all of the place is as nice as it was described, but it is you who have to explore it by yourself. I love the way they will make you keen to keep the records by giving badges as well.

Been to tons of the waterfalls etc. However, I would love to see if it would be possible to add an “along the way” feature to your app. This when hitting the “take me there” button, for it to show you spots that you can hit along the way before opening maps, and then you being able to add them as stops.

Thanks for fixing the crash issue! Now having occasional issues with ticking off activities, I’ll go through the whole process and get the badges but then the app clears (?) my update and says I’ve yet to tick it off. Usually takes 3-4 attempts before it’ll actually register it as ticked off, still an awesome app but a little annoying to deal with. Thank you for the continued work!

I love the app concept and I use it every time i go somewhere new. 

It would be nice to be able to tick places off without having to post a picture as I often don’t take photos so have stopped bothering with ticking them off. 

It also would be nice to be able to add recommendations and see recommendations from people who are local. I know so many local gems around me that aren’t there and I would love to share with other people and learn about their cool spots.
