### ***** "Great App and so feature packed"
I recently upgraded my roaster and wanted to use my ipad for tracking roasts. I took gamble on this app as the reviews are so old. What can i say it’s fantastic, i have purchased a ThermaQ Bluetooth temp unit. Setup was very simple and had probe readings up and running in minutes.

In terms of functionality its huge, i have all my green beans stored and tracked plus each roast has huge amount of data against it. Its a complicated program so you need to spend bit of time learning and the webcasts are great plus the help files built in to the app.

If you are into your roasting and want an app to log and track everything to do with on your ipad this is the one.

Ok, so I am a bit anally retentive but this app is great fun! As a home roaster, it has renewed my interest in roasting my own beans. The screens are graphically interesting and the data capture is at the right sort of level. There is loads of built in help and to be honest you need it. Without reading the help you can get a bit stuck. There are few quirky things - pressing the start button when roasting closes the the roast screen and it is not entirely clear what the timing values are. I have only had it for a few hours and done three roasts already. Need to get my head round these profiles and programs.

I normally use a spreadsheet to cover the majority of the features, but the use of the graphs etc for reference is a nice touch. I would like to see data in the blends that, based on the proportions, gives an idea of how much of the blend is possible to roast, given the inventory. I would also like to be able to enter cost with inventory and use it to calculate my cost/kg for each blend. Takes a little time to get the hang of but the help and kb are very useful.
