Robo Math Number Line Galaxy Reviews

Doesn't work

GCCA mom on

The app allowed me to enter a players name and create their robot. Then it got stuck "blasting off" and I had to close out. This happened repeatedly. Waste of money!! Very disappointed we were not able to use a single feature on this app. It should be removed from the App Store :(

Gets stuck

My kids cannot play this as it gets stuck on creating the robot. I do not recommend.

Ok

This app is just okay. My son is 5 and can do simple addition but I've never really taught him about the number line. We have been using manipulatives. As far as the number line concept goes this is good. As a parent you still have to explain the game and sit next to your kid because the instructions aren't great. The robot voices can also be hard to understand. I don't know I would buy this game again. It's basic and not that great and hard to understand the robots talking. My son gets kind of bored with it easily.

My son is not becoming smart because you only allow 1 to 10 addition make it full maths

My 7 year old boy hates maths he’s a bit behind at school and concentration levels are low and his mind drifts when being taught verbally. This app has been the first ever app I have found that visually excites him with the colour, and choosing of robots is one of his favourite bit. The reward scheme he absolutely loves, trying to win as many aliens so he can make them all dance. And this learning stage of maths has been the most helpful for him to remember which he struggles with remembering too, so visually, sounds and rewards has really helped him learn, it is a very simple and easy layout of learning maths, he understands the concept of jump counting now where as he couldn’t before.. And the best bit... he keeps wanting to play it, I don’t have to ask him to sit down with me and do it, he just keeps picking it up and playing it himself. THANK YOU to this company with this idea.. you need to make more because this really works for my child who really did need the help. He loves the silly sounds, voices and party music. Keep up the good work. P.S THE GAME DIDNT CRASH ONCE

Excellent game

Love it.

Great way to support KS1&2 maths if it didn't crash.

Yep, great app but crashes at crucial times making a positive learning experience frustrating for the child. One of the rewards the child gets is robot parts, they then get to build a robot and 'launch' it. The app crashes during this launch. The app also freezes on a grey screen when the child completes the 'big world mix' at the end of the game/app, very frustrating after successful completion of every level. If this is fixed this would be a superlative tool like many from MBE. Summary: Good effort. Could have tried harder. Blots an otherwise positive record. See me. C- J
