App will not allow you to register. At the point where you input and confirm your password and agree to terms and conditions, the “Ok” button remains grayed out. I’ve called customer service to no avail. Roborock’s headed back to Amazon. Shame the app developer apparently doesn’t know what he or she is doing.
Connecting is a little finicky but that’s okay. Main problem is that if you share the device with multiple users they suddenly can’t see the room names (why is that not allowed?), and changing the email on the account is a major pain.
I used S7 for 3 years now no still single trouble.
The map editing needs improvement, I have long struggled with partitioning rooms accurately, it’s very imprecise Otherwise fantastic

Good app overall. But, I really really wish there was a quick way to pause or restart the robovac. Often times our s4max will start scheduled cleaning when I’m on a video call. When I open the app to pause cleaning, I first have to wait for the logo animation, then have to click on my device (I only own one device, there’s no reason to have a list of one), then I have to wait for the map to load, and then finally I can can tap “pause”. Starting and stopping cleaning are the two most common uses of this app, so it’s not efficient to have to go through so many steps to execute those simple commands. I hope the developers incorporate design changes to address this in future updates.
This product is making my life and cleaning easy. I am always in pain and this is Such a great product. Recommend 100%.
When creating an account, Roborock should allow for a greater password length. The maximum is only 12 characters, this is not enough characters to keep an account safe.
Purchased max 8 ultra. App would not connect to device or network. Tried both an ipad and iphone. RR customer support was unable to fix the issue. Returned the device.
Overall this app provides a good way to manage my Roborock vacuums, however i wish I could set it up to only send notifications when a robot or dock needs attention. Any time the robot finishes a step in a cleaning routine I get a notification. I only need to know when the robot is stuck, or if I need to do some maintenance.
