Robot72 is a slow-scan television (SSTV) encoder and decoder for iPhone. Listen to amateur radio SSTV transmissions and decode them into images, or send your own photos as audio that any SSTV receiver can pick up.

Built for radio enthusiasts: Robot72 is designed for amateur radio operators, SWLs, ISS pass watchers, and anyone curious about how images travel as sound. Auto-detection means you do not need to know the mode in advance — just tap Listen and the app figures it out.

Private by design: SSTV processing runs entirely on your device. Robot72 sends only privacy-minimized product interaction events that are not linked to your identity, helping us improve onboarding and core features. Photos, audio, and history stay on your device. Optional rewarded videos are requested as non-personalized ads; there are no banners or pop-ups. Robot72 does not use its analytics data to track you across apps or websites.
