Accesses Every Account You Have!
I only signed up bc I was lazy and wanted to get rid off excess subscriptions. I could just look through my statements and do that.
This thing messed up all my logins, so I could only check my balances through here, not on my banking apps, or credit card apps and I’ve been trying to get everything fixed since. Imagine if this system gets hacked (all the big companies have had data breaches). Don’t give them access to your info. They sell your info to “affiliates”. Just think before you do this. It was a mess for me.
SCAM
I downloaded Rocket Money a year ago just to manage my bills a little bit easier. Just like most apps, they have premium deals. I NEVER EVER SIGNED UP for premium. Yet ever since i linked my bank account to the app, i’ve been getting charged $9 per month and i barely noticed today!!. Usually when you sign up for premium you get the premium benefits but i never got premium and my app still asks me from time to time to sign up for premium. So what are they charging $9 every month for? Stay away from scams this, i can’t believe it.
DO NOT FALL FOR PREMIUM
I am an avid budgeter and thought I’d check this app out. It was fairly easy to set everything up but decided it wasn’t what I was looking before because there were things they missed. I was just charged after their free trail which is on me but it is impossible to cancel this without “ speaking to an agent” who doesn’t resopond.
DONT DO IT
They make it impossible for you to get out of the subscription. Just don’t.
Abusive application
You can only pay your subscription with a checking account, so you cannot contest charges. As a voiceover user, you cannot tell how much they have set you up to pay, but they have you paying the maximum. You cannot unsubscribe without contacting their customer service. When you contact their customer service they send you general instructions on how to unsubscribe without helping. I also filed a report with Apple. I really never seen anything like this. I don’t usually write these reviews.
Update: I was able to cancel and delete my account by going to the website. It does not send any confirmation. When I tried signing back into my account to verify that it was gone, I saw a message addressing me by name, which shows that even after my account has been deleted they continue keeping my personal information. It's hard to believe that favorable reviews are real.
Nothing works
It constantly drops the connections so nothing works and the negotiation thing to lower bills couldn't do anything because they needed absolute access to my accounts without telling me when. How is that supposed to work?! I'm not going to let a whole company and all its employees access my account whenever they want. That's crazy. No.
What’s the point
I would love to use this app, if only every time I try to login with my bank info it says “something went wrong” (I’ve tried more than a dozen times)
Lost money with rocket money
Terrible. Went with the free trial and didn’t have any “surprise subscriptions”. It was useful so I forgot about it and forgot to cancel my trial. Got charged after the trial ended and the rocket money subscription cancellation Ui is horrendous, maybe the worst I’ve ever seen. What a hypocritical app.
It’s not free like it said
How do I cancel this account? It said it was free but right after I give my first set of bank accounts info - it asks for me to decide how much I’m going to pay each month. I just want to cancel and delete everything out of this app. How do I do that. I do not trust this app after that sneaky move it pulled.
