This works very good and it’s easy to use. I think this is the best microphone system never.

Röde wont connect to my iphone 14

Mic does not work anymore with app.

The mic stopped working after the latest firmware update, not finding the device anymore. Using a usb-C to lightning cable bought with the mic.

The Central app ONLY works with a special Røde-brand Lightning to USB-C cable (not with any regular cable with similar connectors). --- Even so, the app ONLY directly recognizes the Wireless Go 2 receiver unit (RX). The two transmitters, when plugged directly to the iPhone, do nothing, not even with the special cable. --- Instead, connection of the transmitter (TX) units happens by first turning them on, in which case they are recognized immediately (but they also immediately start recording internally, if set to Always or Backup mode). This creates a totally unnecessary and useless audio recording on-board. YES, the additional recording CAN of course be erased afterwards, but this whole operation is not as elegant or transparent as it could be (and should be, considering the RØDE company commitment to quality). --- It looks like iOS application creation is not the strongest side of the company, as of yet. At least it does not fully match the quality system architecture and style of the excellent Wireless Go 2 System. They could well use another Steve Jobs to keep all their different departments in tighter check.

Using regular usb c to lightning. Does not find any device.

Die App findet das NT1a Gen5 nicht obwohl es mit dem mitgelieferten Originalkabel von Rode am USB-C-Port des Ipad Air 2024 angeschlossen ist. Sie meldet "Schliessen sie a (Absatz) Rode Mikrofon an". Damit bleiben die erweiterten DSP-Funktionen unzugänglich wegen denen ich das Mikro gekauft habe. Alle anderen Apps wie AUM finden es aber. Rode Reporter und Rode Capture finden es auch. Dort lässt sich nur der Gain einstellen. Capture fordert mich auf ein Rode Mikrofon zu kaufen und zeigt eine Liste kompatibler Rodemikros an in der das Nt1a Gen5 nicht enthalten ist. Dabei wird das Nt1a Gen5 seit längerem mit dieser App und Funktion beworben, im Benutzerhandbuch so beschrieben und verkauft. Ich habe die schlechteste App des Universums gefunden. Es ist eine Frechheit von und eine Schande für Rode so etwas zu verkaufen.

Bitte korrigiere eure App

Anstatt verschiedene Apps herauszugeben, von denen keine einen ausreichenden, geschweige denn vollständigen Funktionsumfang bietet, sollte Rode lieber die Funktionalitäten in einer App zusammenzufassen. Eine „Connect App“ für iOS, in der man alles einstellen, Gate, Kompressor und Equalizer nutzen und auch aufnehmen kann, wäre wünschenswert. Eine App, in der ich den Gain einstellen, aber die Signalstärke nicht sehen kann, finde ich sinnfrei.

Für das iPhone komplett unbrauchbar nicht, lässt sich nicht anschließen trotz des zusätzlichen Kabels SC 15 ist die App nicht zu bewegen. Trotz des Löschens und neu installieren. Die App und das Mikrofon funktionieren überhaupt nicht. Anscheinend mit iPhone nicht kompatibel und absolut nicht empfehlenswert.!!!
