I thought Apple was going to start removing apps that haven’t been updated in the last few years. Cmon Rode, you make great hardware, how about putting just a little work into the software side. It’s embarrassing how sad the quality of the available apps (this is the worst of them). This app looks and works like it’s a high school beginner programming class project that at best would get a C- grade. (Only because it actually runs, doesn’t crash the phone, and records audio. Sadly, you can’t do anything with the recording. You can’t export it, delete it, or use it outside the app. It needs to be completely rewritten or just removed from the store -- Android Lee trying iPhone, 2024-05-12 ### *---- "Where’s my promised PRO version, RODE?" This app was clearly made by people who don’t care about anything, especially ease of use, efficiency, or safety. If you use this for anything remotely professional, you’ll probably get screwed over big time. This app will decide to delete random tracks, export tracks as blank txt files that are 0kb, stop recording randomly, or simply freeze mid use. On the off chance it actually successfully records something, good luck getting it off your phone. No tracks will be saved to your phone, so you can manually extract; you’re at the mercy of this god awful company and their terrible servers. I honestly have never felt so strongly about a bad company as I have for this one. How terrible their app is has made me sell my two rode mics and exclusively buy from their competitors.
