Wie funktioniert die 3D Scan App?

Indem du dein Smartphone oder Tablet einmal rund um deinen Gegenstand bewegst, ermöglichst du es der Scan App diesen aus jeder möglichen Perspektive zu fotografieren. Keine Sorge, die App leitet dich genau an, was du zu tun hast. Bist du mit den entstandenen Fotos zufrieden, gibst du Ihnen einen Objektnamen, wie „Grüner Stuhl“ und lädst sie per Klick in das rooom System hoch. Schon nach wenigen Minuten steht ein fertiger 3D Product Viewer von deinem Gegenstand in der App für dich bereit – aus deinen Fotos ist ein 3D Modell entstanden. Jetzt kannst du das 3D Modell im Product Viewer frei drehen, rein- und rauszoomen und digital überall mit hinnehmen.

Worauf musst du beim Scannen achten?

Gegenstände mit transparenten oder reflektierenden Oberflächen sind für einen Scan nicht geeignet. Auch Gegenstände, die kleiner als 3 cm sind kann dein Mobilgerät als 3D Scanner nicht richtig erfassen. Der Maximalabstand beim Scannen sollte außerdem nicht größer als 5 Meter sein.
