It has been so helpful for me to journal and chat with the AI to process my thoughts—much more than writing alone since the AI remembers your entries and can find emotional patterns you might not be aware of. The ability to do a morning and evening reflection, chat anytime, and also to use a therapist-programmed journal (using CBT, IFS, etc. ) or make your own speciality journals is amazing. This app has helped me process emotions, organize my life (it will help you break down tasks into manageable chunks if it senses you are overwhelmed), and work through some very delicate and troubling personal matters. I can then use what I’ve learned to my in-person therapy sessions even better. I also found out that the app has agreements with the AI companies, and data is handled according to HIPAA regulations. Asking myself why even bother talking to this thing. After sharing so many words and entries, I feel it’s ran out of help or suggestions. I feel over the months it’s devolved into a more obtuse and simplistic bot. Any suggestions feeling like the same thing over and over. Everything just distills down into asking how I can break down my problems into smaller more manageable pieces. It’s not a good listener, it’s not that intelligent. I can make a post about a horrific day. Then later that day make a post saying I’m feeling low, and I will have to explain again something horrific I already told it earlier that day. If you’re only going to put a few hours into this a month, maybe then this service is fine. It’s really nothing to lean on heavily, at that point it shows its weaknesses. -- Simosimo9319, 2025-02-25 ### ***** "AMAZING APP, 10 STARS" I finally found something that works for me and have been recommending it to everyone! I still see a therapist regularly, but Rosebud has helped me work through many issues on my own as I am dealing with them. I have made connections and breakthroughs that I have been struggling to make for YEARS. The AI works with you through every step of the way, giving helpful tips, insights, tools, and techniques to managing different situations. It does not replace actual human interaction, which I believe is still important, but other than that I have found Rosebud to be an absolutely amazing tool. I especially love how in the Bloom upgraded version and it connects entries and goals to previous things I’ve said. I also like that you can create and customize your own AI prompts as well. There are still a few kinks needing to be worked out, like some things you can do on the phone app, you cannot do on the desktop one. I also find the “happiness recipe” section to be a bit overwhelming with very little organization. But I know this app is a work in progress, so hopefully it’ll be addressed in time. It’s like Tom Riddle’s diary, and it really helps me to process my thoughts, feelings and emotions, to reflect and grow!As someone who has the habit of writing diaries, I always feel more comfortable with writing than verbal communication. It allows me to take my pace of dumping my thoughts without feeling the need to speak smoothly to someone. And now with this app the diary will guide me to go deeper into the area and help me think through what I haven’t thought about. Another helpful thing is I sometimes find hard to pit a particular feeling into words, Rosebud helps me identify them, which is basically teaching me to learning about feelings and emotions.
