### ***** "Better than procreate dreams"
I’ve tried out so many animation apps on the iPad, both free and paid and this is honestly my favourite. It has all the important features for animation with lots of quality of life features while also being so simple and easy to use. It’s genuinely better and more streamlined for frame by frame animation than procreate dreams which is more expensive.

The only thing is I’d prefer more/nicer brush options but I appreciate the customisation. I’d also LOVE if there were blend modes but for now I import my animations into procreate dreams to colour and shade.

Really great app that’s worth the money !!!

I have a lot of fun doing explorations with this app. 

It’s very lightweight and well done. 
In all my time using an iPad/iPhone I don’t think I’ve ever left a review in over 13 years but I feel this app and it’s developers deserve the attention in the best way possible. 

Very reasonably priced. A great tool to have in your Arsenal.

It’s only missing the Skew option on the transformation and the option for the bounding box on the transformation could be relative to the screen rotation instead of the canvas (easier squash and stretch when the object is not parallel to the canvas) (like in toonboom)

There are a few different apps on the iPad for animation but none compare to RoughAnimator. It might not have the user interface finish of some other apps but it's a constantly improving app and with the extra canvas space giving more room to figure out perspective and camera movements, it really has maintained its top place
