RoughAnimator - animation app

This app is amazing, doesn’t overcomplicate things and can be learned in no time! I’d love to see more features added at some point to enhance things though! Like being able to add multiply layers or create some simple effects! But even just as is the app is wonderful to animate on

This is hands down the most feature rich app for timing animation… it may not have the brushes, bells and whistles, but if you’re an animator, it’s an invaluable tool!

So I was wondering if u would add a ruler tool cause it’s getting quite hard to make circles and lines. But apart from that it’s really good, I use it to make videos for my channel

I do have a few issues !! (I am using the latest version by the way) Very rarely it lags, but it does seem to be crashing a wee bit or it goes unresponsive and I have to restart the app (which loses my progress) A big problem with the video-gif export, the colours are either way off than what it should be in the project or not even appearing at all !! I often have to rely on png sequence or the MP4(?) export options, but other than the colour issues in the GIF option —-all of the export options work just fine !! Not sure if there is already settings or anything that could fix this, but I would love to have a brush that is more “pixelated” if you get what I mean. I’ve looked around on the web for ones that could replicate stuff made in MS Paint or Pixel art, so usually I have to make my own. Again, if I’m missing something then feel free to let me know !! (P.S sorry for grammar issues, I’m not the best at writing haha)

Love to get up to speed on this version, somehow it doesn’t seem as intuitive as it was 1 year ago

I’m not using an iPad Pro but I am using and iPad My problem is every time I play my animation it is very pixilated. When I draw it, it looks normal but pixilated when I play the animation. If I make the brush size to 1, and I play my animation, there will be gaps in the lines that I drew. Fix this now because I don’t wanna regret buying this.

Highly recommended. I was looking for an animation app with timeline and drawing duration for each layers, it is very nice using this app. Thank you!

Surprisingly intuitive! There’s some quality traditional animating and great fun to be had here!

So when I saw the pictures and videos of this app, I was so excited to get it. It was the animation style that I really liked. I didn’t really like flip clip when I looked it. The only problem with this app is I need to spend money, but the money was so worth it. It was a little complicated by understanding without any learning video they will write. It’s for professional, but simple. It’s so simple and this is the best quality app that I could find on the App Store on my iPad because I love animating so much so if you really don’t care about my money, I, I would like you to get this app. It’s really good quality better than flip clip even though it got 5000 downloads and this one only has 1000 downloads but still recommend this app.
