How much does Rouleur cost?
Rouleur has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is €10.19.
Bought a year subscription, and don’t have access to the magazine. Already wrote an email looking for help with no reply at all. The only option that that app gives is to buy again a magazine when I bought a year subscription. The app is updated.
Update: now I have access to the magazine, more than 24h after the payment
Amazing cycling journalism
The new app makes the Rouleur experience even better!
Really poor
Whoever runs the app side of this mag needs to have a serious look into their CX - subscribed, set up an account, downloaded the app, can’t log in so therefore can’t use the app. Well done, managed to completely ruin any semblance of a good customer experience. Straight away unsubscribed and wont be back.
Great on the ipad
Perfect for my morning cafe while on the iPad.
Classy
I couldn’t bear to pay for cyclingnews and just noticed there is a lot of free and daily updated content on this app!! The writing is a different level than the rest of the cycling media 👍
Need to get the basics right
While the magazine is great and the app in general okay I’m constantly frustrated by a basic but fundamental flaw. The app keeps logging me out and then when I log back in I have to re-download the content and all my bookmarks are lost. Very disappointing and I’d expected much better.
Don’t too small
I agree with some of the other reviews about the navigation around the app. It is not intuitive! Took me ages to get back to the story I wanted when a button was inadvertently touched. But my biggest beef is with the font size, it is the same with the paper version. It is far too small, you almost need a pair of Bino’s to read it. App viewed on iPad mini, so would be nice if you could use the zoom with the fingers that you can on most other things on an apple device.
Poor app
This is a good mag but the app is poor. The new edition of the magazine takes a long time to appear on the app after it’s released in the shops. When it does appear it is poorly formatted for iPad with tiny pages. This is frustrating when you’ve paid money for a subscription. This is an issue raised opinion the reviews in 2018 which they claimed they had fixed but obviously not. I contacted the publishers about this and they blamed Apple, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that they are taking money from people and not providing the service they sold.
Useless
Subscribed , got a code for the App, downloaded the app, followed instructions, inserted code and voila! What have I got but bugger all!
Confused user journey
The app looks great but the navigation of it and what individual buttons do remains a mystery. If the main aim of the user is to download a mag then it’s fine for that - everything else is tucked behind a huge nav and labels o. The main page which don’t seem to do anything.
