## Roundtrip Learner Logbook Description
Roundtrip makes it easy to officially record and track your NSW driving practice and learning goals. Simply tap the record button, enter your current odometer and then you're off!

Roundtrip features include:
- Officially recognised replacement for your NSW paper logbook by Transport for NSW
- Automatically record your practice time, suburbs, weather conditions and more while your drive
- Lock your phone and put it away while you drive and the app will keep recording
- Track and sign off on your 20 NSW learning goals
- Track your practice totals (day hours, night hours and total hours)
- Calculate bonus hours automatically (e.g., 3 for 1 driving instructor lessons) 
- Submit to Transport for NSW once your logbook requirements are complete
- Practice suggestions and summary based on previous practice records
- Automatically back up your practice data in case you lose or break your phone
- No account or app is required for supervisors, only learner drivers need the app

To register to use the app you must hold a valid NSW-issued learner licence (or temporary paper learner licence).

I think it’s a great app but in my case I lacked one detail and don’t know how to enter it as it was not provided before. I used the manual logbook and everything was filled out there, it’s just a bit different on this app. You have to fill out quite a bit of details, like I know their license number but not their stock number as it wasn’t needed in the manual logbook. I don’t think it’s very necessary to have all these details

i love this app, i’ve used it for a year now and it’s been the easiest thing ever but every single time i open it i get the pop up reminder to “update to current version”. i have looked in the app store to see if this needs to be updated and there are no updates. it gets annoying and inconvenient when im in a rush and would just like to know if anyone else has this issue or if there is anything i can do to stop getting this pop up.
other than that, highly recommend using the app, so much easier than the book!!

Makes it a bit of a pain to transfer from physical logbook to digital due to its pedantism to carry all information over. Maybe some sort of photography transfer would work? But regardless, the logging onto the app from actual driving is pretty flawless. I’m impressed by how smooth a government service can be, especially with how slow ServiceNSW can be. The only other complaint would be the difficulty of putting my parents onto the app as supervisors. The biggest room for improvement would probably be the live tracking part, where you should be able to have the odometer values automatically added as the GPS tracks your position.
