Making it easy for Royal London customers to view their pension and ISA savings.


HOW YOU GET STARTED

You’ll need to have at least one individual or workplace pension plan, or ISA, with Royal London. To register you’ll need your plan number, which you can find on your welcome letter or annual statement. As soon as you register you’re ready to see your savings and more.


WHAT YOU CAN SEE

• The value of your pension and ISA savings.
• Your pension contributions, along with tax relief and employer payments.
• Details of how your pension funds are invested.
• Up-to-date investment performance and growth, charges paid, and any ProfitShare payments awarded.
• Projections of what your pension savings could be worth when you retire.
• Any money you’ve taken out and how long a regular income might last.


WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Transfer other pension pots to your Royal London workplace plan, to keep your pension savings in one place.

This app doesn’t yet have all the functionality one does/will need but it presents all my pension information in a logical, concise and easy to understand way. Very professional.

Having used this app trustingly for over a year I now have to question its accuracy, the payments noted do not reflect payments made from my employer and when raised through the same app, alarmingly no response a week later!!! Is my future pension invested in a safe place I’m not so sure, it may take me several weeks to find out!

### **--- "Promises a lot but disappointing delivery!"
A huge proportion of the functionality is only available via the website so you choose an option and get bounced out of the app.

Logging into your pension you can find your current balance but when you try to recalculate future options, the app directs you to a generic list of questions as if it has no knowledge of your pension at all.

In comparison to competitors this app is woefully lacking! Such a shame when the products themselves are so good.

It seems that I need iOS 16 to use the app from now on. My iPhone doesn’t support this because it’s an old phone. 
I’ve even tried accessing my pensions account using the regular website, but it won’t recognise my password. I’ve asked for a new password 4 times but haven’t received any response from RL.

This app works for a few weeks then is unable to show your plan for months on end. It’s been like this for years! Countless phone calls & emails, sometimes they sort it but doesn’t last long before error message again. Rang more than 3 weeks ago & still not back on. Would not recommend this app it’s absolutely pointless! If they don’t listen to customers feedback then what’s the point in wasting hours of your life calling & emailing?

I cannot access my pension fund via the app or online. Previously worked ok but now all sorts of access problems, blank pages with no fund balances shown so this is very concerning. Have spoken with their it dept but no one has got back to me. This is very poor service from Royal London, if there is issues with the app update then let customers know.

Was great when it worked, but I just get a message telling me I’m unable to view my plan information right now. Has been this way for a month or so. Tried calling customer services as prompted but they were unable to help. Tried all the usual deleting and re-downloading to no avail. Shame because it was a useful tool when it worked

Logging out remembers the email and doesn’t allow you to change it making it useless for multiple accounts. You have to delete the app and reinstall it to login with a different account.

Useful to just keep an eye on your pension pot value and projected pension. (When they don’t break the app for people with older phones)

Would be nice to have a way to evaluate the effect certain changes would make. Like how much you pay in a month, if you stopped paying in early but didn’t take till later, the effect of taking earlier or later, etc.

I had an issue where the app was asking me to re download from the App Store and then informing me that the App wouldn’t work with my version of iPad iOS. I posted a review and overnight I received an email response offering support from the Royal London Developers. I also find the issue is now fixed and I have the app working again on my IPad  - Excellent response from Royal London.
