## RTC Taxi Description
With the RTC Taxi app you can easily order an RTC taxi within the Rotterdam region with high discounts and fixed price. Pay easily with iDeal, Credit Card or cash. The discount percentage depends on the time of your ride. For example, you pay the normal rate during the busy times and you get high discounts when you travel during off-peak hours. Before you actually place the order, the app calculates the fixed price for your ride. You never have to pay more to the driver than the app has indicated. Please note, the fixed price only applies to the ride that you have actually ordered. For possible changes such as additional addresses o.i.d. the driver may charge a surcharge. Of course this is only applicable in case you change something as a customer. After the ride there is a possibility (optional) to give a "rating" of your experience with the ride and the driver who drove you. Nooit mee rijden!
Had een taxi voor m’n ouders (eind 70/begin 80) via de app besteld, ruim 24 uur vooraf. 12 uur zou ie komen, maar na twaalven belde RTC op. Ze zouden een half uur later komen en voorrijkosten in rekening gaan brengen. Geklaagd bij medewerker en die zou het bespreken. Vervolgens een telefoontje van de onvriendelijke chauffeur. M’n ouders moesten klaarstaan etc. Ik vroeg of de prijs zonder voorrijkosten was, ‘ja, de prijs in de app’. Maar aan het einde vd rit, waar ik dus zelf niet bij was, moest m’n vader alsnog voorrijkosten betalen.

### *---- "Via de App bestellen helpt dus niet."
Had één dag van te voren(10,5 uur in totaal) een taxi besteld voor 08:30 om 09:00 bij een klant te zijn. 08:34 gebeld waar de taxi bleef. 18 minuten in de wacht gestaan. De medewerker vertelde ervoor te zorgen dat de taxi er zo snel mogelijk zou zijn. Het is nu 08:58 en nog steeds geen taxi. Gelukkig bestaan er meer taxibedrijven in en rondom Rotterdam.

Update:
Om 10:00 hebben ze zonder te overleggen met mijn rit in de app geannuleerd. Voortaan maar Sint-Job of Eurocabs bellen

Ik woon in Zuid-Afrika en zou in Nederland best wel eens een taxi willen pakken. Helaas schiet bij het registreren het telefoon veld van ZA steeds terug naar NL dus kom ik niet verder dan dit. Gelukkig doet Uber het wel overal.

De app laat zowaar wel meteen de juiste straat zien, maar ik krijg met geen mogelijkheid het huisnummer aangepast. Dan bestaat mijn straat ineens niet meer...

De opzet van de app is enorm handig om een taxi te boeken, echter..... zoals in de reviews staat te lezen werkt het moeizaam. Ophaal locatie blijft hardnekkig terugspringen naar hetzelfde adres (ws door mobiel gps bepaald). Indien je dat corrigeert, wordt dat genegeerd, wordt niet de goede locatie ingetikt. Ben er een uurtje mee bezig geweest, maar de app wekt geen vertrouwen helaas! Je bent niet zeker of de goede ophaallocatie is doorgekomen. Dus vandaar mijn lage score.

Na wat gesleutel werkt de app nu wel lekker vlot, taxi bestellen/reserveren werkt prima.
Er kunnen nog wat kleine verbeteringen worden doorgevoerd omtrent het in vullen van adressen, taxi volgen en bestelling inzage ( aantal personen ed) maar al met al gewoon dikke prima.

Wat een slechte app. Duurt een eeuwigheid om een adres in te voeren. Indien je naar Schiphol wilt krijg je ongeveer 20 adressen om uit te kiezen. Een aantal van deze adressen worden echter niet herkend en er kan geen prijsberekening worden gemaakt. Vervolgens creditcard gegevens invoeren is ook pas bij 4e keer gelukt. Daarna opdracht gegeven voor een rit maar deze blijft maar op “betalen” staan. Kortom: geen taxi. Volgende keer gewoon weer Uber!

Het is vrijwel onmogelijk om een adres goed in te stellen in de app. Het verspringt naar een ander huisnummer of straat. Ik had besteld, mijn adres stond er goed in, zag bij de bevestiging de straat naast mij genoteerd. Omdat je een rit niet kan wijzigen heb ik die geannuleerd, zie ik in de annulering weer MIJN adres staan. Bellen met de centrale levert ook niet echt begripvolle opstelling op. Na dit uitgelegd te hebben is het antwoord: ‘ je kan je rit hier bestellen maar dan is wel duurder dan in de app’. Duurder dan in de niet functionerende app dus. *zucht*
