I use it daily to edit a text-based data file that contains about 10,000 words. Lately, I have also started using it to code. Works great, but three improvements would make it even better: 1) add a setting to turn off the line length warning 2) ask to save the file before exiting 3) add a keyboard shortcut to move to the EOF (for example, control+down arrow) Thanks for a great app!
An sich ist Runestone für mich der perfekte Editor. Gerade wenn man mal schnell eine Text-Datei erstellen will. Am iPad kann man durch das native Fenster-Management sich zwei Runestone-Fenster nebeneinander anzeigen. Am iPhone geht das leider nicht, daher wäre eine Tab-Funktion nicht schlecht um z.B. zwei Dateien gleichzeitig in verschiedenen Tabs zu öffnen.

Fühlt sich sehr Premium an. Qualitativ ein Traum. Habe die App schon eine ganze Weile. Eigentlich nutze ich sie kaum, weil ich stattdessen einfach Apple Notes nutze... ich behalte sie aber trotzdem, um doch so manchen Text in Plain Text zu verfassen, einfach nur weil es sich so gut anfühlt, diese App zu nutzen. Und ich mache mir die Mühe eine gute Bewertung zu schreiben. Beides sagt sehr viel aus und gleicht einem riesen Lob. Danke sehr dem Entwickler! Und dann auch noch kostenlos - großartig! Danke sehr.

Ich habe die App heute geladen und die Premium Funktionen freigeschaltet für 9,99€. Leider hängt die App sich ständig auf, ein bearbeiten von Texten ist nicht möglich. Manchmal hängt die App schon direkt beim Starten. Da ist dringender Nachholbedarf.
Der Editor ist wirklich sehr gut, es gibt nur eine Verbesserung die ich mir wünsche: Geöffnete Dokumente werden nicht auf entfernte Änderungen geprüft, bedeutet, ich öffne eine Datei über SMB am iPad, bearbeite sie an einem anderen Computer und speichere sie. Das Dokument am iPad ist weiterhin offen und wenn ich Runestone öffne (egal ob die App im Hintergrund lief oder wirklich beendet wurde), dann wird die eben veränderte Datei mit der bereits geöffneten Datei überschrieben. Das ist ziemlich schade. Wenigstens ein Hinweis wie "wollen Sie die Datei überschreiben" wäre schon gut.
I like the app a lot, it‘s just an amazing project. What‘s missing is the ability to use it cross platform, from mobile to desktop. Think about an unified workflow on the go and at home with the same Runestone app. That would be epic! According to the Github repository that might even be possible. Please add / unlock / enable macOS version!
I would love to use it on macOS as well!
