Runestone Text Editor

I mainly use it for simple JavaScript code. Other text editing apps with similar features either require a paid subscription and/or request a ton of permissions, which is a huge privacy and security risk.

Exactly what I needed and without an iOS 5 interface. Great work.

I write non-code texts from time to time, spell check etc. would be a nice addition, make the app even more versatile. If that was introduced i might give 4 or 5 stars.

One of the best text/code editors I’ve tried for iPad. Please consider adding more languages for syntax highlighting. I have to sometimes edit some Visual Basic (.NET/VBScript) and PowerShell code for work, would be great if those could be added.

Im somewhat surprised that a text editor lacks the pretty basic feature PageUp & PageDown Botth Ctrl and Cmd up/down goes to start end of file. Since no iPad keyboards that I know of have native PgUp/Dn this would be a pretty essential feature. Please add and I will rate it higher! I give a plus for suporting move selection by using Opt arrow, but without PgUp/Dn it doesnt matter much since the tool is not practical to use in the first lace.

Free for simple tasks. I use it on holiday to streamline my website.

Sadly I get no responses on multiple retries on getting answers to a questions. Now I like to know how to exit a edited document without saving it. Impossible to find! Also I like to know how to switch autosave, also impossible to get an answer.

A great little text editor!! Waited for this a long time. Directly bought the premium, although I don’t need the premium feautures. To support the developer.

Really feature rich! Definitely recommended. The only things that I miss is setting sync to other devices via iCloud.
