Terrible company

Purchased two amps that started smoking within several months , Russound is not compensating for the installation of the new units, super dismissive and didn’t even apologize for hazardous units they gave us, even now that they are forced to recall them now for same issues with other users!!!

It has been years - please create a great app - would rate zero stars

App opens finds system but does not start

The old app was buggy enough, but at least it would work. New app recognizing system in my network but then spins and does not load or start just spins and gives same message please fix your app

Better than last version, but I despise the volume slider, with any lag it’s impossible to get the right volume, please modify , + and - would be better

Great when it works…

…which isn’t very often. Constantly searches for rooms, finds them, loses them, searches again. If room is finally found loses streaming service-then begins to search for rooms again. Makes me completely regret my home audio system. What junk the server/app is

Last Update Issue w/ Making System Visible

Unable to make system visible to other devices after last update. This wasn’t an issue before. The navigation on the app is a bit clunky and the navigation paths can be deep for some settings. Takes some playing around.

Volume Control

What’s missing is the ability to control volume from the controls on the IPhone. This would get it to 5 stars.

App doesn’t work properly

New app sits and spins constantly. System still works but the app is inaccessible.

Technician Skills Required

The technician is required to install Russound system. The technician is often required to get this app working properly. The IP address changes without notice. That could be changed, but it takes time and skill. Dealing with it on the fly isn’t reasonable. The app also sits and spins at the worst possible times. Of course, when it works it works as advertised. Russound makes great products and they should be able to make a better, more reliable, easier to use app.
