The app doesn’t play nice with major password managers. I was unable to access my login credentials in the app, and, what’s worse, when I switched over to my password manager app to copy the password, I wasn’t allowed to paste it into the Ryanair app! So then I had to go and change my password to something shorter and weaker, just so I could log in. Compatibility with password managers is table stakes functionality Ryanair; figure it out!

The app allowed my daughter to check in for a flight to the UK with EU ID card. The staff at the gate would not change it to a passport and she was denied boarding due to this glitch. Terrible experience with waste of time and money which could be prevented if the app was sensitive to what document can be used for check in.

App wouldn’t let me check in even though it was the deadline, agents at airport didn’t care and charged me 55eu pp.

During check-in, I was informed that there were no standard seats available and that I would need to purchase a "special seat." Under pressure to not miss my flight, I reluctantly paid the additional fee. However, I was then assigned seat 30A, which is a standard seat located at the back of the aircraft in a particularly cramped area. This experience has left me feeling misled for several reasons: 1. I was charged twice for a standard seat 2. I was incorrectly told there were no standard seats available 3. The seat I received (30A) was marketed as a "special seat" when it is, in fact, a standard seat in an undesirable location

This airline just wants to take as much money from you as possible. There flights might be cheap but they make all that back when they you board with pretty much any baggage. Had a horrible experience through delays but was shocked when I was charged twice for my bag, once and checkin and once again at boarding…this airline is the worst. App ain’t it either.

We took a 5:50pm Ryanair flight from Athens to Santorini on October 9th. Only at 3:40pm when we were at the counter to check in, we learned that we had to check in online, otherwise there was a fee charge. I logged into the website to pick our seats and entered my credit card information. But the website just got stuck and the transaction couldn’t go three. The Ryanair stuff didn’t want to give any help but to push me to pay 124.3 euros for manual check in. I feel this company just wants to squeeze every single cent of revenue from clients but has no consideration of customer service.

In order to check in with the app you must use it to scan your passport. Guess what, after trying for some time I could not get it to scan. It doesn’t seem to take a picture, it gives no feedback as to what it is doing, it was very frustrating. This meant that we could not check in online and had to do so in person. This would have cost us 55 euros each, but fortunately we had plus tickets so it was free for us this time

Wasted my time. The passport nfc scan doesn’t work. Use a damn camera like normal people….

Let’s you get almost the end, then problems arise with the credit card payments. All three credit cards refused to work using the app. Had to book with another airline that worked perfectly. Tried Ryanair on other short flights… same problem!! 🤦🏻‍♂️
