When trying to check in, the system has some bugs that comes up with an error. I attempted to restart the Ryanair app which alleviated the issue, but at first it wouldn’t allow me to check in.

Since I started traveling with Ryanair, I’ve always used the same cabin bag without any issues. Just two weeks ago I was travelling with the same cabin bag from Prague to Edinburgh with no problem. However, this time at Edinburgh Airport, I was charged £75 at the gate because the staff claimed my bag was too large. This was despite the check-in desk staff confirming that my cabin luggage was fine to take on board. And despite the fact that I bought a package that contains two cabin bags and I actually was carrying only one!

What’s more frustrating is that, contrary to what the impolite gate staff insisted, no one took my bag before boarding. I just carried it onto the plane myself and easily placed it in the overhead compartment without any problems. It seemed the most important thing was just to milk the £75 out of the passenger.

Unless it’s a vital issue and I can’t find another airline for my destination, I will never fly with Ryanair again.

While checking in and buying checked-in luggage via Apple Pay on the app I was told the payment had declined (red exclamation sign) and was kicked out back to the landing page, having gone through the check in process again, along with buying my checked in luggage once more with Apple Pay, this second attempt went through. 

The next day when at the airport the person at the counter was confused as to why I only had one luggage. I checked my bank and sure enough, they had taken the first payment despite saying it had initially declined. After it had left my pending transactions I rang RyanAir directly who were less than useless and basically told me there was nothing they could do. 

Luckily I contacted my bank and they were able to reverse the charge - otherwise RyanAir would have stolen another £80 from me for their already less than stellar service.

I fly Belfast to London standard and over weight my luggage  I get change extra weight 110 in the airport and when I’m in London there is nowhere my suitcase and it was 13 may.. I call many time customer service and they realy rude on the phone and telling u only email and I drive to the head office in Dublin and they told me to call this number but it’s the same customer service number. So now they over me £497 in 1 December but I refused and now I apply small claim court… I we’ll never us Ryanair they r the worst airline and I always travel over 20 times a year but it we’ll be my last and they shouldn’t be in business at all
