I love everything about this app!!
I’ve been using this app for 6 months now- which is the longest I’ve ever consistently lifted weights, and it’s all thanks to Sadie Active. The planned workouts make my time at the gym feel productive and efficient. The weekly rollout of new workouts keeps things fresh and interesting. The tutorial videos and suggested modifications are incredibly helpful. Being able to track the weight history for each lift is so motivating. I love, love, love this app!
I just downloaded the app and the workouts won’t start. I guess I will cancel if after I just subscribed
I’ve been working out for years and finally landed on my favorite. This app/program is amazing. I’ve learned better form on so many lifts, I’ve built muscle and can lift heavier weights, lost weight & feel like every single muscle gets worked each week. Takes all the guess work out. I feel confident, sore, strong & proud.
I LOVE the workouts and how every muscle group gets hit and not over worked throughout the week. I love how there’s no fluff in these workouts, it’s straight up strength training. The app itself still has room for improvement, user friendly wise. The only things I wish the app did was: when you start a workout, I wish it would take you through each exercise/rounds (maybe the screen wouldn’t time out that way), I wish you could press 30 minute or 60 minute as an option (instead of just halving each set), and I wish it had a calendar to see what I’ve completed for the month. Other than that it’s fantastic and you can’t beat the cost!
After years of chasing cardio, Sadie has been teaching me how to properly strength train and I truly love it! Her workouts push me to go beyond my comfort zone every time. I feel stronger and more confident in my body than ever before. Thank you Sadie!! I can’t recommend subscribing enough!!
The app turned out to be so glitchy that I couldn’t even move past the first page. All I got was a losing bar when I tried to sign up for the free trial. Was really hoping this would turn out good because of the good reviews but I couldn’t even try any exercises
I love the workout programming and find the actual workouts enjoyable. I wouldn’t change nothing to how she does her workout splits!! However, it bugs me that the exercise I am on does not come up full screen (automatic video mode) when I’m on that particular exercise. It is not like most other workout apps that help to keep you going by clicking “next” - then the next workout pops up. You manually have to just scroll down the page then click on the next exercise photo — then click on play to see the exercise in motion. It’s constant clicking. Also to note: The “start” button only is a timer but doesn’t actually progress you through the workout if that makes sense. Another thought I had would be to add in voice recording with the exercise demos so we can listen to form cues / tips as we’re working out rather than to sit and have to read through what the exercise says for notes. Again, love love love Sadie, and her programming but would like to see the app be a little more modern and have the option to be led through the workout rather than trying to keep the pace yourself.
I’ve had the app for 3 months now and I really like all the workouts. What I don’t love is the recent update. I don’t like that now I have to click on each of the different options within the workout to see what modifications I can make. It was so much nicer to have the options listed and clearer given, then if I needed more information I could click and see the video. Now I waste so much time during my workout time trying to figure out what the options/modifications are. I don’t have a ton of time for my workouts so it is frustrating that with some exercises I have to click on each of multiple options to see what will work for me. Before the update I had no complaints.
