## SafeMilk Description
SafeMilk is a breastfeeding alcohol calculator and drink tracker that helps you record drinks, explore future plans and follow an estimated waiting time in one place.

If you are looking for a breastfeeding alcohol timer, SafeMilk provides a clear countdown based on your entries and profile settings. The estimate includes a precautionary buffer: a displayed value of 0‰ does not automatically end the waiting time.

RECORD DRINKS WITHOUT THE FUSS
Choose wine, sparkling wine, beer, cocktails or shots, or enter a custom drink. Add the amount in milliliters, alcohol percentage and start time. An end time is optional. Decimal alcohol percentages and quick volume selections help you enter the details of your drink.

PLAN AHEAD
Add a drink for later today or another day to explore its estimated timing. Planned entries stay separate from your current estimate until they are confirmed as consumed. Plans are not treated as drinks you have already had.

KEEP YOUR ENTRIES ORGANIZED
Switch between all entries, current entries, planned drinks and history. Edit details or add a similar drink again without having to enter everything from scratch.

FOLLOW AN ESTIMATE, NOT A MEASUREMENT
See an estimated blood alcohol level and waiting-time countdown. Calculations use your drink details and profile settings, including weight and the selected alcohol elimination rate. Food intake can be recorded, but it does not shorten the waiting time in the calculation.

OPTIONAL REMINDERS
Enable a local notification in the mobile app for the estimated end of the waiting time. Notifications require your device's permission and may depend on its settings.

FREE TO USE, WITH OPTIONAL AD REMOVAL
The core features remain available in the free app with ads. If you prefer fewer interruptions, an optional one-time in-app purchase removes ads. There is no subscription. You can restore eligible purchases through the app.

IMPORTANT LIMITS
SafeMilk does not measure alcohol in blood or breast milk. Its calculations are estimates and can differ from your actual alcohol level. A zero value, completed countdown or notification is not confirmation that breastfeeding is safe. The app does not provide medical clearance and does not replace professional medical advice.

### ****- "Great App - One Minor Flaw"
I love this app! Being able to log alcohol intake and knowing when it’s safe to breastfeed/pump is such a great ease of mind to an already-frazzled first-time mom!!! My only complaint, and the reason for this not being 5 Stars, is with the alcohol percentage entry for each drink. Most beers are not a straight rounded ABV%, they are calculated with tenths. The app doesn’t let you add decimal amounts in the entry, for a truly accurate countdown…you have to decide whether or not to round up or round down to the nearest whole number. I would love to see the addition of a decimal option added.
