Unlike algorithm-based "kids" apps, SafeTube is whitelist-first. Nothing is left to a recommendation engine: you approve the exact channels and videos your child is allowed to open, and everything else stays out of reach until you say otherwise. WHY PARENTS CHOOSE SAFETUBE • Whitelist-only by default — approve channels and videos one by one. • No autoplay rabbit holes, no Shorts, no comments, no surprise recommendations. • Three protection modes so you decide how strict it is: AI Shield: automatically screens new videos for age-appropriateness. Manual: your child asks, you approve or deny — every time. Unprotected: only your whitelist and blocklist apply. • "Ask Parent" requests: your child taps once to request a new video; you approve or deny from your phone. • Screen-time limits and viewing windows per child. • Block channels and keywords you never want to appear. • Separate profiles, PINs, and rules for each child. HOW IT WORKS Create a free parent account on the web dashboard at safetube.app. Add a child profile and choose their protection mode. Open SafeTube on your child's device and link it with a 6-digit code. Approve content and manage everything from the dashboard — changes sync instantly. BUILT FOR FAMILIES • Designed for a focused, distraction-free viewing experience for kids. • A simple, PIN-protected settings area keeps controls in the parent's hands. • Works alongside the SafeTube parent dashboard so you can manage on the go. PRIVACY FIRST • Child profiles use a nickname only — no child email or personal profile required. • All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS. • We don't sell your data or show third-party ads. SafeTube turns YouTube from an open feed into a curated, parent-approved library — safe, fun, and simple. Questions?
