## Saga of the North Wind Description
The gods have chosen you to lead your tribe on a deadly pilgrimage to the Valley of the North Wind! When future generations recite your saga, will they sing of your glory or your downfall?

"Saga of the North Wind" is a 300,000-word interactive fantasy novel by Tom Knights, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Your people roam the Great Steppe, chased and challenged by the fearsome Tribe of the Black Wolf. Their leader, the shaman Zhan-Ukhel, calls forth savage magic from Chernobog, the god who rules their tribe. Your tribe must have a leader who can call down protection from the gods. That leader is you, and this is your saga.

Rule your tribe as an iron-fisted chieftain or as a benevolent guardian. Will your allies support you on the field of battle? Will the gods come when you need them most? Do you even need the gods to smite your enemies, or will you seize divine power for yourself?

An eerie glow dances across the stars tonight, stars that bear your name. Listen, now, to the Saga of the North Wind!

• Play as male or female, gay, or straight
• Become a shaman of the spirit world
• Fight the ancient, powerful force, Chernobog who rules your enemies
• Battle in the arena or make a daring escape from captivity
• Call upon the spirits for aid in your struggle against the Black Wolves' sorceror

## Saga of the North Wind Reviews in United States

### ***** "Really Excellent!"
I just finished my first play through of this game, and I truly enjoyed the experience. The writing is great, which isn't something you can say about every CYOA game. My only complaint is that the stats (and what affects them) feel really obfuscated.
-- Juriko, 2017-08-06

### ***** "Totally worth it"
Could not stop playing this game. So in depth and addicting, I highly recommend it
-- theoneandonlykurrupted1911, 2017-04-04

### ****- "Interesting"
I appreciate the intricacies and length of the game. The fact that one has to really think about their choices isn't found in a lot of COG apps. Not sure if I like the mechanic where the stats of the advisors affect which suggestion they'll give you; kinda messes with the way I view their character. Also a bit disappointed in the romantic gameplay; I wish there was more to it.
-- Qkc-Aria, 2017-03-10

### ***** "Lots of Replay Value"
Worth the money! It's a bit pricey, but this is my favorite Choice Of game. There are so many storylines to explore, and the ending will definitely get you wanting to play again!
-- Distortionist, 2017-02-22

### ***** "Worth the Pay"
I play all of the Choice of Games interactive novels, and this one is awesome!
-- Xavera, 2017-02-15

### ***** "Exceptional"
This is exactly what these types of games should be. I replayed this and it was still good. There are certain channelized paths, but this in no way seemed to diminish the replay value. I recommend this without reservation. The one thing I wish for this and other games of this type is that the character could be carried forward into another adventure, even if it were in another timeframe.
-- RW1965, 2017-02-12

### ***** "Fun immersive game"
This text game is extremely Immersive you feel bad when you mess up and great when you make a good decision very fun gameplay
-- Jawjjshshehdk wording, 2017-01-24

### ***** "An Excellent Journey"
This is one of the Choice Of games that I really feel like I'll be playing again and again to see all the different endings and stories. Loved every bit of it.
-- A Pleasant Day in the Woods, 2017-01-10

### ***** "Mr."
I really love this game! I would give five thousand plus stars if I had the choice. I so love games from Choice Of Games so much that, even in my sleep, part of my dreams are about what would happen in the next game! So thanks for bringing Choice of Games to us!!!!!!!!!!:-)
-- Ice cream dream screams, 2016-12-30

### ***-- "Meh"
I own pretty much all their games and although decent, there are much better ones out there for the cost. The story is very much the same no matter how you play with maybe a couple paragraph changes. I've personally played through 14 times to try and achieve the reincarnation ending but have only received the lesser ending all 14 times. Overall it's well written and fun to play a time or two but not one I feel you can keep returning to time and again.
