App never works
This app never works. Every time I try to login it says connectivity issues. Very very frustrating. But they sure email and call you if ur 30 seconds late for a payment.
Highway Robbery
Sallie Mae is a wolf dressed in sheep clothing. They are absolute sharks. I would NEVER suggest anyone to take a loan from these snakes. Interest rates are sky high and they will not work with you on lowering payments. Lesson learned, be careful who you borrow money from.
Very confusing
Very confusing messages and hard to navigate
Loan deferment
I went through a whole process to get my loans deferred because I am back in school. Had my school fill out a form and email Sallie Mae and received confirmation of such…only to keep receiving past due notifications. What a waste of time

This organization are pure scammers
I’m trying to pay down the balance on one of my crazy high interest Sallie Mae student loans (predatory high 12%! - I had my credit affected due to my ex husband at the time divorcing him too while in school) but on the app they make it so hard to do it if you have an autopay setup. I even tried to chat but it was just a bot that couldn’t understand what I wanted (I’d think it’s a common request to ask how to make a one time pay down of a balance on a particular loan). Paying $1000/m I’d expect a better customer service response when I need it and absolutely predatory loan terms - stay away from Sallie Mae if you can.
