Fab app !
Love this for practicing congas and timbales. Love how you can pick from so many rhythms.
Great little app, could be better…
Tempo is in double time, so 120 is really 60. Also would be amazing if some 6/8 could be there too. If we could take a bar of 4/4 and break it up between the 16th notes and then triplets it would be the best app ever. Eg. 4/4/3/3 or 4/3/3/4 etc
Excellent practise machine
As a brass player I can work on my articulation in an idiom. I can vary the tempo and also vary the complexity of the backing.

Learning the salsa rhythm
Just stared dance classes (almost 50). I have been missing out. So much to learn currently learning the clave rhythm and this app enables me to listen to that instrument in isolation. Ultimately trying to lean hear and follow difference between beats 1234 and 5678 when dancing salsa
Fundamentally flawed
The app only lets you pause and then continues on from where you left off. This renders the app basically useless since understanding this kind of music relies on understanding where you are in a complex set of rhythms. Only allowing the app to just start wherever it was last paused just creates confusion as you are immediately lost.
Improving our salsa
This was recommended at our salsa class so the app is quite new to me, I’ve been dancing salsa for about three and a half years and I can already see that this will help me to improve my salsa
like it!
One extra useful feature would be to be able to change the bass and the piano to the same progression in one action
Does what it says on the tin.
Very basic app. I expected more for my£2.99! But it does the job.
