My matches, likes and conversations all disappeared one day, I tried to raise a support ticket, but help centre link also disappeared. I’m surprised to see the app has been so long standing because it is filled with bugs. It’s a shame because I liked the interface otherwise.

I’ve been single for a long time and I’m 57. I get very discouraged about finding a partner and never have Christian guys come on to me, as far as I’m aware. So just getting likes from Christian men who’ve seen photos of me encourages me no end. All my photos were taken within the last five months. It tells me my face at least is alright. It tells me there is hope.

The app is straightforward and clear to use. The only issue I have seen is a lack of notifications of new messages, which seems to be an intermittent problem. Compared to other dating apps, I prefer Salt because it has uplifting messages and a positive vibe. I have been able to connect with other local people through this app and the messages have been respectful. First date today so it does work 🙏

After spending my time in registering for the app, I couldn’t find anyone. Surely, I didn’t have to be doing searching before I could see other users. I deleted the app immediately. Useless!

### ***-- "Please can matches be encouraged to respond?"
This has been a good dating app and a nice change from Facebook, match, okcupid and bumble. However the people I match with rarely if ever at all respond. I realise getting people to respond is outside of your power but a prompt every now and then to encourage a response when someone messages would be ideal. 

Better yet, there should be a list of templates to send right off the bat if said person is occupied and can’t message back, say for example - “I am working or at worship right now but will respond soon” - would at least save the person messaging the suspense of wondering why a person who matched with them would then give them the silent treatment. I’ve had to unmatch twice from unresponsive women on this app because of this.

I like the premise of a Christian dating app and think it has potential to be great. However I’ve been disappointed by the decision to make it a social platform with ‘Salt Social’ and ‘Salt Table’. The YouTube channel and blog are good but I’ve downloaded the app to be a dating app that I’ll hopefully delete when I meet someone. I’m not sticking around for the social side.  I feel like developing that social side had taken away from improving the dating aspect. 
The matches and likes you section seems to glitch. I’ve set my age parameters, sometimes I’ve adjusted them and more people appear in my ‘likes you’ section that should have appeared within the original parameters.
I have contacted their support team who suggested I tried logging out and logging back in, but they pointed me to a page that doesn’t allow me to log out only delete my account. As if they don’t know their way around their own app. 
I think the app would be improved if accounts that were inactive were flagged as such, so many people seem to ignore messages even after matching. Or archive matches if no one starts messaging after 48hrs like other dating apps.

Decent app, but is clearly pushing now for paid services. A longer wait now to send intros, unless you pay for more. It used to be 1 every 24 hours.  Now it’s 2-3 days, by which time you also can’t see those you’ve liked more than 24 hours prior, unless you pay for premium.
