SampleTank Reviews

Needs an update, badly.

von_KÜHL on

Don’t get me wrong, this is a very strong (but pricey) app. It’s very MIDI friendly, and if playing live is your thing, SAMPLETANK is a clear buy. BUT I’m afraid time has limited the app’s potential. If it was AUV3, it would be a very useful instrument inside of the iPadOS environment. Sad to see it’s over 4 years since the last update. IK Multimedia has thrown us musicians & customers under the bus, so I can only give one star because: lack of usefulness.

No longer works on my iPad 3

Will this be fixed ?????

Be aware!

Marton0007 on

Today I'm dissapointed by IK Multimedia! I've been using Sampletank (paid version) on my Ipad2 for a couple of years and today I was notified that there was an update for me. Exited as usual I tried to update. However, I soon got the message that the app is not supported on my device! .??? You should be aware of this -if IK Multimedia is serious about discontinuing backward compatibility. Soon it might be your device that will not have any further updates from IK Multimedia. Well, I'll defenitely be looking for other options!

Mest av alt irriterende

Noen gode lyder, men utrolig irriterende app som reklamerer for sine andre apps hver eneste oppstart.

Popup ads

This company insist on telling you about their other apps every single time you launch one of their pricy apps. Every time I launch sampletank,or one of their other apps get one or more popup ads. Every time. Can't believe I actually paid for this rubbish!

Lost core midi connectivity after the update

Aage Vaksdal on

Norway

What happened? The program ran beatuifully until they fixed it... It shows signs of buggyness already, program dropped out, and I lost the cam kit midi connectivity with my AKAI LPK 25 keyboard. It works fine with the Akai Synth Station. I haven't tried my iRig midi hardware yet. Any similar experiences out there? My stash: iPad 3, IOS 5.1.1, Akai LPK 25 Keyboard, Apple Cam connection kit, iRig Midi.

Lost Money

Downloaded the Sampletank Pro for $65.. and I didnt get any new sounds added in my app. All the sounds are still greyed out. The company is terrible with support, you can’t even reach anyone to get this issue resolved.
