Description

■ What is the Smart Washer App?
The Smart Washer App supports 'Smart Check' function that helps you to take action when an error occurs in your washer. It recognizes an error code in Samsung washer display and informs how to take action.

■ Supported Washer Models:
- Check the Smart Check mark in the control panel and the information about them in the user manual.
- The "Smart Check" may be represented as "Smart Care" depending on the language.

■ Please check these items before using the Smart Washer App!
- External light may cause the camera recognition function to be incorrect. Adjust the focus and angle properly for the auto camera recognition to operate correctly.
- Check the supported washer and smart phone models.
(Other models are not guaranteed that they will operate normally.)
- Depending on the font you have set in your mobile phone, Application's screen may look different.

Samsung Smart Care for Dryer

D3iamond on

Do you actually have an app for the dryer?

Good luck

Charlie In KY on

If you’re lucky, maybe. I had ZERO help by using this for clothes dryer problem.

App Doesn’t Recognize Washer

Whitepe on

App won’t connect to washer. An error message every time you try to scan the code.

THIS IS A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL!!!

There are so many 1 Star reviews on here that complain about connectivity issues, lack of features, etc. All this app was designed for is to check error codes so that the consumer can be walked through by a customer service rep when problems happen. Basically so that a repairman doesn’t need to be called out for little things that can be easily fixed. It is so absurd that people don’t understand this! One review basically blamed this app because the person wasted either 20 or 25k (I guess they forgot how much they were trying to lie about spending in their 1 paragraph review)??? It’s a good app if you know how to use it. My washer was displaying a weird error code which basically just needed to be reset. Used the scan feature on the app, reset the machine, calibrated the drum, boom 5 minutes later it was back up and running.

App doesn’t work!

App doesn’t work and the washer is terrible. Would not recommend product.

Won’t connect to iPhone 13

Can’t get app to connect. Please Fix.

What a waste

jackfalling on

This app is so poorly designed. Looks like it has never been updated since the 2000s. Doesn’t connect properly and is a total waste once you do get it connected after 15+ try’s. Washer and dryer are amazing but the app is 1 star.

Worthless

1star isn’t low enough. I’ve had washer and dryer over ten years. The smart part has NEVER worked

Rip Off for Forceful Upgrade

Ninjasurferdudett on

I have a 2022 dryer that works with Samsung’s SmartThings app (which is also crappy but deserves 3stars for working mostly) this app deserves negative stars! Read the reviews and you’ll notice this app did exactly what SmartThings does now for the “upgraded” appliances. They just purposely updated all their old apps to do jack squat to force customers to upgrade to a SmartThings compatible model- for money. Which means I won’t be buying anymore Samsung smart devices, because I don’t put it past them to try and even make SmartThings outdated just like this app for greedy money upgrade ploys. They don’t realize these shenanigans are loosing them an entire smart market to Amazon products- which are the future of the market amongst Apple smart devices. They fail- LG does too, but I’ll even take them over Samsung. For a truly smart washer/dryer, look up “Miele TwinDos Washer” it even works with Alexa - Samsung could never. But honestly just wait it out for them to really become smart. Right now all “smart” washer dryers other than my expensive recommendation are rather “dumb.”

Better have the washer if you want

Rideswim on

The dryer to connect in the first place. Smart home yeah right nothing connects on any of the MANY and I mean many Samsung smart apps for appliances they have out. Tried on iPhone, android, and even tried to skill link for Alexa nothing not a thing connected to even try it. Returned the smart hub, waste of money, didn’t return the dryer was thinking about it for a min since I paid for the extras and they don’t work but it was on sale and cheaper then the other one I was looking at so it stays. Will not be getting the matching washing machine when my current one bits the dust tho nope Samsung is persona non grata in our house now.
