This service is pricey, but for the most part it is decent. My child actually asked me to tell everyone to use this service to send letters while in basic. I can attest that it’s faster than snail mail. My one issue is that on more than one occasion letters were not shipped/delivered overnight, to the point that I reached out to their customer service to ask about it. As I write this, I still have a letter waiting to be delivered that was written/sent Dec 30th, and my child will be graduating next week. I’m now concerned it won’t be delivered in time.

I used the service and sent out seven letters to my son, who is currently in Boot Camp. When I asked him if he received all seven, he told me he got six. The seventh letter, strangely, was shipped back to me along with my own letter meant for him.

I love Sandboxx!! The support team is also extremely helpful and friendly. SGTMaj was great at assisting me with some issues I encountered. And I love that it’s so easy to get a letter to my recruit. I will always recommend this app to anyone with someone joining the military! My bf gets my letters so much faster! The only thing I dislike is that they aren’t handwritten letters so it’s not as personable as a hand written letter but I do both still. However, I still recommend this for faster delivery and service.

I was very hesitant to use this service especially being a retired letter carrier @USPS.

I must say I am so impressed by this service provided by Sandboxx. It makes everything run smoothly from the moment you send your letter you are able to track it and confirm delivery. 

The added bonus is saving my recruit time with the self addressed envelope and postage paid already included in my letter! This service really is a lifesaver that’s for sure due to a disability I’m not able to just go mail letters anymore so another added benefit of this service. I highly recommend Sandboxx!!! 

I did need customer assistance so I sent a message and actually got a call back from Kris who provided me with the most respectful service and answered all my questions and concerns. That’s big nowadays and I rather have the human interaction than a bot !!!!! Thank you to Sandboxx for your service and support! If you are thinking about this go for it and thank me later 💪💪

I put a letter in that said it would be sent out in 8 hours and then after the 8 hrs in changes to 80 hours. This is the second time this delay has happened.  Not happy with service. 
Tried to get to customer service and got the run around with the automated system.

Don’t understand why/how they can claim to deliver/mail the letters daily!?! Is there a cap on sending more than one letter at a time? The updates & instructions aren’t clear! If I submit more than one letter, then it says 84 hours until you can send the next one! WTH?! How can you send one a day then???? False advertising! And agreed with other complaints - service should process even over the weekend & holidays!

I purchased the 5 letters offer to send to my grandson, to give him support and love while he was in the Marines boot camp on Parris Island. Of them, only one, the first one, did he receive. The other 4 were returned to me a week after his graduation!!! He never got the letters including the money gift I sent him for his birthday! I was so disappointed, to say the least.

Letters are expensive, about $4 each. Supposedly next day delivery (Mon-Thur) if written before 4:30pm EASTERN time, however that doesn’t always happen especially during holidays when you want to communicate with your trainee the most, unable to get letter delivered for days. I was never able to obtain return tracking even though I paid for and trainee used provided return postage. Glad my trainee will be graduating soon and I no longer will be using this service.

I sent my boyfriend in Great Lakes on 12/24 and it still has not been shipped and it’s 12/27 right now as I am typing. I contacted the Sandbox team and still no reply. I’m hoping it’s just because of the holidays and not just a problem on my end. But I really hope it goes through because I been sending multiple letters and it still hasn’t been shipped. At this point I am really about to send handwritten letters now.

During my time in Bootcamp, I repeatedly received letters with return envelopes that weren’t pre paid for. When I graduated, I tried to get answers and explanations as to why I was receiving letters like that. I was told that the letters I received were because they were from my husband who is overseas. When I argued that this wasn’t disclosed when I bought the letters, I wasn’t given a response back. I came home for Christmas and my grandmother had received one of her letters to me back because it had gotten delivered to Great Lakes after I graduated. When I opened it, the return envelope was not pre paid for. There is no longer an excuse, this is just bad service and employees who don’t like to respond to customers.

i really liked using this app because the letters got to my boyfriend the next day if you followed the directions😂. it was better then sending traditional mail. sandbox does add up if your sending a lot but you can get referrals codes to be able to get a free letter and you can also give out your code to receive free letters as well. this app is a MUST if your love one is gone.

I paid for services that I didn’t even get. Recommend doing the work yourself by going to the U.S. Postal Service rather than paying Sandboxx do it for you. Sandboxx will fail you in every instance and won’t tell you about it. Unbelievable!

They did exactly what they said they’d do…… my son got his letters quickly and they were easy to send. My problem is the fact that I spent $59.39 for 20 letters and only got to send 6. The other 14 letters somehow disappeared from my account. I will not be using this app anymore.
