The Santander Business Banking app is available for you to manage your business finances. It's designed to make business banking with us fast, convenient and more secure. The app will be updated regularly with new features.

Key features:
• Use Biometrics (e.g. Fingerprint) or your Security Number to quickly access your accounts.
• View and interact with your Business and Personal Current accounts, Savings accounts, and Credit cards.
• Check your balance and your transaction history for Business and Personal accounts.
• Transfer money between your accounts.
• Make a payment from your business accounts to a new or existing payee.
• Find support and useful links.
• View and set up standing orders and view Direct Debits.
• Authorise online payments securely using the app.
• Share your account details directly from the app.

Before you start:
Visit Santander online banking to check if we have your current UK mobile number. This is so we can send you One Time Passcodes. Once that’s done, it takes just a few minutes to get started with our app.

• Open the app and log on using your existing Online Banking details.
• We’ll send you a One Time Passcode (OTP) by text message.
• Enter the code into the app and we’ll register your device.
• We’ll ask if you want to set up Touch ID or Face ID to log on.
And that’s it, you’re in.

Remember:
• Never share a Santander One Time Passcode (OTP) with another person. Not even a Santander employee.
• Never move your money to a new account for security reasons. If you’re asked to do this, it will be a scam.
• Always confirm new payment requests or requests to change bank details. You should do this in person or on a publicly available or trusted number.

Much improved app but still work needed

The app has much improved over recent years, but still needs work. For example the app won’t allow you to send a payment with an & sign in the reference. Well if your business name has an & sign in the name then you have to process payments via the website. Come on Santander, this is an easy fix!!!

New Version is quite good

Finally new version that actually enables business users to make payments through app. Big improvement that come just in time - I was planning to change bank for both by companies because of old app. Well done Santander !

Updated App

Much more added in the latest version, great asset to be able to add new payee’s using the mobile. Tremendously good app.

No control over my personal accounts

Why can I no longer make payments from my personal accounts? I have to fully login online on my computer at home. I can’t use the personal app as it tells me I only have a business login. Your changes have made life for business bankers more difficult then they were with your old app.

Notifications

There are no notifications of payment and also just lacks in general compared to starling,Monzo etc

Not the best of banking apps.

It doesn’t provide updates when money enters my account which is quite annoying since I’m also a business account holder. It’d be great if I was updated whenever money enters or leaves my account.
