Getting Started
It takes just a few minutes to get started with Santander Mobile Banking.


Already a customer?
• You’ll need your Personal ID, Security Number, phone number and/or email address that you’ve registered with us.
• Open the app, select ‘Log on’ and enter your details
If you’ve forgotten any details or have any issues logging in, please see our help guides at www.santander.co.uk/personal/support/ways-to-bank/on-your-mobile

New to Santander?
• You can open a Personal Current Account using our app. For other types of account, please visit www.santander.co.uk.
• Simply open the app and select ‘New Customer’.
• You’ll need a U.K. Driving Licence or U.K. passport, if you don’t have either of these you can open an account at www.santander.co.uk or by contacting us.
• We’ll guide you through the application process to set up your account.
This is a new process so there's currently some restrictions. We’re hoping to include more account types and I.D. options soon.
Once set up be sure to allow ‘push notifications’ to see messages from us on your phone’s home screen.
Remember:
• Never share a One Time Passcode (OTP) or your Security Number with anyone. Not even a Santander employee.
• Santander will never call to ask to log on to your mobile device or computer, or ask you to download any type of software.

Santander Mobile Banking will not run on devices that have been jailbroken.
Please make sure you have the latest Apple software on your phone so that our app runs smoothly. Your device will need to be running iOS version 13 or above to use this app. If you are unable to update to this version, please log on to Santander Online Banking at www.santander.co.uk to access your accounts.

App was better before and didn’t need to be changed, removed the widget to check balance without having to open the app. Poor all round, change it back!

I don’t like the new app at all. It was difficult to set up, & the layout is awful. Frankly the old app was better. One of the best features of the old app was the widget & they scraped it.

The old app is better, I have tried and tried to send money to someone and it will not load when I press pay, absolutely fuming, why change an app that works better, please sort this urgently or I am changing bank, thank you

New app alright but very slow
