Sapphire Global WiFi Reviews
UPNP never available, poor speeds and constant connectivity issues
Good day,
I use your service because I am deployed, the wifi has several days where i cant do the things i need for college because a 10 minute video can take hours to load, can’t game with my wife and kids because universal plug n play (UPNP) NAT Type is always strict. It has taken me 3 days to download a 11GB game with my xbox constantly running because the speeds are so slow or like tonight my signal wont stay stable enough to make progress on the download.
The weather has been consistently clear skies here, being here in the desert not many rain storms occur. It is getting colder which I understand does impact Wi-Fi signal but last time I was here I had none of these issues.
Perhaps a firmware update is needed?
Any recommendations to resolve my issues would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Andrew
RIP OFF
Huge rip off 😡DO NOT buy into to this total scam‼️They are exactly like every other time share… a total joke.
Needs an Update
Sapphire works well with my Sapphire 3. But i feel like its lacking in some areas. Competitor’s pucks offer software/hardware updates via their respective apps. Where as sapphire does not. The device goes in and out a lot even in well covered areas for service.
Works well
Have used all over Europe. It is very pricy. However much more secure than any free WiFi. I have to work some. Spotty in rural areas. But that is stated when purchasing.
Scam
Absolutely worthless company and products. The sapphire three won’t connect to the internet no matter if you get the SIM card or buy a plan. Support doesn’t know what they’re talking about, and their sales clerks are definitely paid commission and will lie to make the sale.
Trash
Trash overpriced wifi doesn’t work for anything more than texting. In Germany too. Wasted $30 on it don’t do the same
Good service, user friendly
The service works well enough, and is cheaper than an international plan. I’m able to talk to my family, and access the internet. The connection is somewhat slow, and I drop calls from time to time (even in a static environment). Video calling is nothing short of frustrating, but that could just be my location. I’d recommend it for military personnel on short tours, and persons who infrequently travel internationally.
The app is great as far as usability, however, my only complaint is I wish they would add an option to send you push notifications when the data is low.
Internet is good but
So I just got this internet Puck for my time at Ali Al Salem yesterday. WiFi is pretty good now and I’m enjoying it. But let’s say I want to change plans or even cancel it, the site doesn’t show my profile nor give me an option to cancel it not even the app shows me where to cancel my plan or start a new one. So idk if I have to go back to the store and make a new plan or cancel it. But weird cuz the guy said I can do it from my phone and I don’t know where. So I felt like I got scammed into a plan that I have to stick with
Bad puck
The pucks by sapphire drains battery even if you’re not using data. That means if it accidentally press against something in your bag it will turn on and stay on until it dies without you even using your data.
Oh, the data is expensive and it expires
Don’t waste your money
The service is garbage for Poland. Don’t waste your money.
