### ***-- "Always a Catch with the discount codes"
Meh - totum is good because it provides you with a digital NUS card that you can show in-store to unlock discounts - also the free taste card is AMAZING. Taste cards cost £30 a year alone - so getting a year sub via TOTUM for £15 is great value. The tastecard has great discounts on it - unlike the TOTUM app itself.

The TOTUM app has rubbish deals. There is always a catch .Certain products (not just sale items) are not included in the discount. Very few discount codes apply site wide. The T and Cs are not clearly displayed for each deal. The description will just say “ restrictions apply”.

Half of the “discounts” are just adverts for general sales that anyone can access.

If you have a physical student ID card you don’t need the TOTUM app. Dont pay the fee. Just use your plastic uni ID. Uni days has way better exclusive discounts then TOTUM does. The free taste card is the only thing TOTUM has over other student ID providers.

### *---- "Not genuine discount card"
I use it only on Boots and in store with IKEA, Boots website said not recognised the membership number and IKEA’s staff said they never heard about this card offer
-- Dan_Smiths, 2024-12-14

### *---- "App"
Stuck in Circular prompts - get nowhere. So difficult to access any of the offers! Impenetrable!
-- kkh ug dft, 2024-11-10

### *---- "Refund"
I can’t believe this ! TOTUM is an absolute scam. I paid for 3 years online and it wants me to pay again on the app. Totum I have PTSD and this is all very triggering, please can you help me sort this out. I only want what I paid for……
-- ?8!!83, 2024-11-09

### *---- "Rubbish first experience"
Just paid for 3years service, downloaded the app and can’t even access it. Not happy at all shocking first time experience
-- Cozza2006, 2024-11-07

### ***-- "It’s good but it’s not great"
It’s good to see where you can get discounts, but not really clear how much the discount is sometimes- particularly when titles say ‘up to’, it’s just a way to lure you in to realise there’s not really a noticeable saving which can be annoying! Also it advertises sales that already on so again making it difficult to distinguish being TOTUM savings and normal offers.
-- Nessxness, 2024-10-20

### *---- "Don’t do it"
It’s not worth paying for this.

There’s not many discounts. The ones on there are discounts from stores you get get cheaper. The app might occasionally work.

I deeply regret paying for this, it just tries to upsell a it’s other products
-- Travel93, 2024-10-08

### *---- "Passwords"
I seem to have endless problems being logged out and my password not being recognised
-- Caroline JM, 2024-10-08

### *---- "Same if not better deals from other free apps"
I’ve been using Unidays and StudentBeans for a while, completely free. I was sent to Totum by my university and am so disappointed! It’s less well-designed and has all the same deals, in fact way less deals than the other two. No point paying the money for it. Sorry guys!
-- Salvay, 2024-10-04

### *---- "Joke"
Ridiculous app, suddenly cancelled my account without saying telling me I have to pay. The discounts aren’t good and can get better by searching online or unidays which is free. only benefit was the digital id card.
