AIS - Over the Horizon AIS (OHA)

Use boat tracking to hone in on your boat GPS location, see your course over ground (COG) and view your speed over ground (SOG). savvy navvy is essentially your nautical GPS giving you a compass heading to steer with a tide calculation!

Gute Konzeption und Oberfläche …
… aber hinsichtlich Details (Tiefen im Uferbereich, Konobas, Sperrgebiete wie Fischfarmen etc. ) leider kein vollwertiger Ersatz für die Navionics App, deshalb 1 Punkt Abzug. Trotzdem behalte ich Navvy Savvy auch nach der Probezeit, da die Oberfläche für die meisten gröberen Infos ausreicht und wirklich ansprechend und übersichtlich, ohne zu viel „Schnickschnack“ aufgebaut und meiner Ansicht nach recht liebevoll programmiert ist (Leuchtfeuer werden z.B. in der Detaillansicht animiert dargestellt, blinken also in der Richtigen Farbe und Frequenz). Das schlagendste Kaufargument für mich war aber das Overlay mit animiertem aktuellen oder prognostizierten Wind auf der Karte, auf der man sich zur Navigation befindet. Extrem praktisch und übersichtlich, weil man nicht zwischen verschiedenen Apps switchen muss. Alles in Allem eine tolle App und letztlich für das, was sie bietet auch preislich im Rahmen (da man kein weiteres Gerät benötigt, iPad reicht völlig aus, mit guten Augen auch das Handy). Nicht unerwähnt bleiben soll, dass man nicht eine kleine Region kauft (wäre für uns zwar ausreichend, weil unser Boot in HR liegt), sondern der gesamte Abdeckungsbereich des Anbieters uneingeschränkt zur Verfügung steht.
Durchaus Empfehlenswert
Bin noch am Erkunden dieses Programms, aber im Moment sehr begeistert! Bald werde ich es im Atlantik testen.
