## Say Something SHP Description
Sandy Hook Promise's Say Something Anonymous Reporting System allows students, parents, and community members to submit secure & anonymous safety concerns to help identify and intervene upon at-risk individuals BEFORE they hurt themselves or others. Your tips are uploaded with secure intel to a live 24/7 crisis center where all tips reported are managed until the cases are resolved. The system enables school administrators and law enforcement to create effective interventions and to help prevent violence, suicide, bullying, self-harm and other forms of threatening behavior.

### **--- "update your app"
bro i haven’t submitted a report yet but i already tell this shi gon be a pain. the ui is trash and slow and things of that nature.

### *---- "Trash"
This stuff was so bad, and I couldn’t even find many of the things I needed
-- LordFarquadEdges, 2025-01-29

### *---- "This app is a fever dream"
So to begin, I open the app after my buddy began to have a breakdown. As soon as I open the app, coloures start swirling around my head and start telli by me to make the brownies. BUT, I knew it was wrong for me to make the brownies because the teachers told me to never drive high. I then instead made gummies. I decided this was bad so I reported myself. An Officer shows up and tells me he wants some gummies so I give him them before I begin to hover off the floor and no clip through the ceiling. El oficial de policía comienza a perseguirme en au motocicleta lancha híbrida Que también comienza a no apuntarme mientras intento escapar. After that, Willem Dafoe and Willem dafriend begin dance battling as I begin to korglijorkle. I then purpled out and woke up in my bed with a seraphim floating above my head. In short, this app is insanely bad.

### ***-- "Good :)"
I’ve used this app Twice to help keep friends from not doing Suicide. I don’t recommend it as a first option, as talking to the person may be a better option, but if you can’t stop them DO USE IT!! It’s a little hard to use every now and then, and sometimes the staff on the other end repeat the things they say, and in each tip you make they say something along the lines of “You are being very brave for reporting this, I know this can be scary” but they do help people at all ages and support LGBT+

So yes, I think this is a good app for when I can’t get a friend to stop hurting themselves or if I can’t tell an adult about a different thing happening at the moment.

### *---- "Why did I get falsely reported"
I got reported for beating my son Dickson. Why he deserved the beating after those grades and the fights he had been at. App deserves the 1 star
-- Dicksons father, 2024-11-13

### *---- "Jordans 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️"
I reported someone cuz they deviously stole mah new Jordans.😤😤 As soon as I reported them, I saw a cop walking towards tha culprit. I was glad because he was cumming to my rescue 💪💪🙏 but then all if a sudden he started attacking my friend Jamal! ✊🏿💀😭 1 star do not download tis app, its for Indian scammers and old sexually deprived people in your area 🥺😢😔☹️😞😕🙁😥😟😿🫤

### ***-- "Good for school but 🫶 just really not"
This app is good to report things about other people but like to be honest I don’t think if someone’s depressed they don’t want you to share their secrets and other than this it’s pretty good and I do think if it’s like something really really serious you should report it and I feel like everyone’s going through something and if you really wanted to help someone I would talk to them in person first and then go to the app if that doesn’t work
-- Maddie 🐇🐰, 2024-09-18

### *---- "App"
School makes us do this stuff and it’s annoying
-- henry makes good reviews, 2024-08-19

### *---- "Makes me mad"
Friend was going through personal stuff so i made a report the SHERIFF showed up to his house at MIDNIGHT on a SCHOOL NIGHT. Bro i meant for him to get some professional help not the dang sheriff at midnight 🤷🏼‍♂️🙏🏻🤦🏼‍♂️
-- cookie22playz, 2024-03-01

### **--- "Read this"
I would go tell someone at school first about the situation or tell your parents to say something, I would only go to this app if nothing was to be done about the situation and it only got worse, if the app does not help tell them that you will tell the police if nothing is done about the situations, that will make these idiots listen to YOU and your situation, when you talk to these people, don’t give out you name, even if they pressure you, don’t do it, use a VPN if can hide/change your IP, back to the point, you have be very detailed before you hit that submit button, provide anything that he/she said or do to you. Because when you hit submit, they are going to ask questions one of them will be your NAME DON’T GIVE OUT YOUR NAME TO ANYONE!
Here another thing this app can throw people under the bus so be careful.
Too explain in short terms
I would tell a trusted adult, this app would not be my first option, if that does not work use this app, and tell them you will tell the police if action is not taken, if action not taken tell the police, it will get the attention of the school and something will get done. Other wise 2 stars this app has the wrong approach and other students can falsely accuse other and get away with it.
