Build it in minutes, share a code, and watch it happen live. Scavvy is an app for creating interactive group experiences — scavenger hunts, team-building challenges, onboarding games, conference activations, wedding weekends, classroom quests, city tours, and whatever else you can design. You write the missions. Your people complete them with photos, videos, text answers, and GPS check-ins. Everyone follows along in a live feed as it unfolds. BUILD THE EXPERIENCE YOU WANT Scavvy gives you the pieces, not a template: • Missions — photo, video, text, and GPS location, in any combination • Reference Photos — add photos to your missions and clues to give players a visual reference for each challenge • Structure — open exploration where players pick their own path, or a locked sequence where each answer unlocks the next • Format — solo play, teams, or a whole company split into squads • Timing — schedule a start and end and let it run without you • Scoring — set point values, award bonuses for great submissions, reject the ones that miss WHAT PEOPLE USE IT FOR Corporate team building and offsites. Conference and trade show activations. Wedding weekends and bachelorette parties. School field trips and campus orientation. Birthday parties. Family reunions. Neighborhood fundraisers. Holiday events. THE LIVE PART The feed is where it comes together. Submissions appear the moment they're posted — no refreshing, no waiting for someone to compile a recap afterward. Filter by mission or by player, comment on submissions, and download the photos when it's over. MADE TO RUN ITSELF • Guided onboarding so players know exactly what to do with no briefing from you • Invite by link or private game code • Live leaderboards FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What kind of experience can I build? Anything made of tasks. A classic scavenger hunt, a photo challenge, a trivia trail, an onboarding checklist, a guided tour, a team competition. If you can write it as a list of missions, Scavvy runs it. How many people can join? Plans cover 10, 50, or 100 players, or unlimited — pick the size that fits, solo or in teams. Player capacity is set by your plan, available as a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. Do players need training? No. Scavvy walks them through everything after they enter your code. Can I run it without being there? Yes. Schedule the start and end times and it runs on its own. You can drop in to award bonus points whenever you want. I set up an experience for my son’s birthday and it was a hit! Great way for the guests to have fun and also a very easy way for us to collect content (pictures and videos) from everyone who was there! Definitely recommend! -- ProudTravelMama, 2026-09-13 ### ***** "So fun!" I love this app! It is such a fun idea and levels up your scavenger hunt. Super fun for a group activity— family vacations or birthday parties or a youth group. -- Emmymunns, 2026-09-13 ### **--- "Not Unlimited" App was fairly user friendly. However the link to invite does not auto populate into the app so users have to manually type it in. Additionally the website says unlimited users on the top tier (currently $35) but it actually maxes at 60. Also wish you could add a caption to photos like you can to videos. -- Tiffany 1a2b3c, 2026-01-29 ### ***** "Look no further! Super easy to use" Scavvy was the easiest scavenger hunt apps that I’ve used. It was super easy to get everything set up for our event. It was a blast and made the whole experience 10 times better! -- IJ4314, 2025-10-06 ### ***** "Great App!" I used Scavvy for a party with friends and had a great experience. Would be great for school groups or any group looking to have an awesome scavenger hunt!! -- Jenpack56, 2025-08-06 ### ***** "Top notch app" Jon is the best! This app is the best!Looking for more apps from this creator! -- Judyjenkins, 2025-07-31 ### ***** "Easy to work with and great creator support!" I have been planning a community event that included a scavenger hunt and this app had been easy to create with. When I wanted to see if I could get randomized clues, Jonathan helped me out with offering to upgrade two other hunts for free that had the same sets of clues but in different orders. -- Mikkidash, 2025-07-18 ### ***** "Total blast!" My entire family (a group of 14) went overseas for my daughter’s wedding and an extended vacation. I created a scavenger hunt for us and it was a complete blast! Even the dads who don’t get into this kind of thing were into it. The reason I chose this app over others was that I didn’t need to take photos through the app but could go through my photos at the end of the day and upload the ones that matched the missions. My 10 year old messed his account up and support (shout out to Jonathan) was super responsive and helpful…he went above and beyond for us. I will definitely be creating more hunts in the future. This was good, old-fashioned fun! -- Momma 4 all, 2025-06-02 ### *---- "Zero Support" Easy enough to create a scavenger hunt for my students in Riga, Latvia— and Scavvy was happy to take my $7.99–but none of them can access it. My emails to support bounced and there was no response when I tried to use their chat function. Not sure the company still exists or ever existed. -- HPE17, 2024-12-17 ### ***** "An Absolute Riot!" We absolutely loved playing Scavvy! It was the perfect way to connect with our friends who live across the country. The app made it easy to engage in fun, creative challenges that kept everyone entertained and laughing the whole time. It’s such a unique activity that brought a sense of togetherness despite the distance. The interface was user-friendly, and the variety of tasks kept things exciting. If you’re looking for a great way to bond with friends or family, no matter where they are, Scavvy is a must-try! Highly recommend! -- Bwilliam2, 2024-12-05 ### ***** "Scavenger Hunt perfect for youth groups!" I used this app for a youth group activity…it was a total hit! It was also easy to use and so much fun! -- morrellfab5, 2024-10-07 ### ***** "Great for friends and family!" I personally don’t get out of the house too much, but I heard about this app and wanted to give it a try. I hung out with some family and didn’t know what to do so I downloaded Scavvy and boom! Instantly we had an entire day’s outing planned instantly! Very easy to use and very helpful when you are in new or old locations that you wish to explore. -- HH710420, 2024-10-05 ### ***** "So Much Fun" Played a One Piece scavenger hunt with my cousins. Scavvy has been just what we need as now they’re on a mission to beat each other! Great idea! -- van_block, 2024-10-05 ### ***** "Easy and Fun to use!" This is by far the best and easiest way to create a digital scavenger hunt! The UI is very easy to use/navigate and I didn’t experience any issues when creating my scavenger hunt! Definitely the best app in its industry! -- RyanShappa, 2024-10-01 ### ***** "Great fun!" Easy to use and fun app to do a scavenger hunt! -- CarlosandJanet, 2024-09-28 ### ***** "Great Team Building Option" I wanted to create a custom built scavenger hunt experience as team building exercise. It was awesome. It was simple to create the mission list with AI help. Also, the developer added a timer feature. This app definitely met and exceeded my expectation. I cannot say enough about this app nor the developer. I will definitely use it again! -- 2TTiny5$4, 2024-09-26 [View all Scavvy reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Scavvy Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/scavvy-epic-scavenger-hunts-sTlu/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/scavvy-epic-scavenger-hunts-sTlu/canada) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
