Paid up to us an app for planning as it looked a little more friendly than the Garmin app - premium features need purchasing and the cost went up if you took a free trial - I took a punt and it was the wrong thing to do. Cannot recommend this app as it just dumped an afternoons planning. Then I discover there author knows it is broken. Feel somewhat robbed but the mugging didn’t result in spilled blood - that’s good I guess.

I’ve tried all the other moto nav apps and they all fall down in one way or another. Scenic is a small developer and responds to the feedback and needs of riders. It has fantastic customisation and can be set up exactly how you like. I’ve used it for years now all over Europe. Wouldn’t be without it.

I’ve been testing all kinds of navigation app over the years and it’s a minefield. Some are good at some things and some are good at others however it’s difficult to find a system that can handle it all! 
Scenic is definitely one that can do that and although it takes a bit of getting used to it’s is the best out there! What I also want to add here is the fact that I’m now using it for professional coach driving as I find it more customisable and more accurate than Tom Tom and even enables you to add vehicle dimensions which is rare for this type of navigation app! I could say more but that’s enough for now!

The new update got rid of extra curvy, in the uk pretty much every road is ‘curvy’, and with the new update the curvy routes now just take you the normal route to your destination

I like this app, plots routes well but on the circular mode, which is a great idea, it keeps putting in unnecessary little detours and u-turns where they do not add to the journey and make no sense. Maybe there is a setting in the app to prevent these, if so, it should be off by default.
