Really finding it very useful. Especially the coaching. It’s keeping me up to my best intentions It’s just a pain that the font is so small and not easily readable Tried changing the settings.
So Far So Good
It’s a very good app, may be not everyone’s thing, but over the last 2 months I’ve found that I can stay within my kj limits and still eat well. I’ve learnt that I need to keep at it . The reminders help me do that. I don’t really have any negative things to say .
It must have taken me nearly 10 minutes just to log my breakfast. Having to scroll is bad enough (rather than typing in the food and it comes up) but the worse is that the list is so random - not even in alpha order. Regret the purchase already.
Have been using arise for 10 months with great results. The app is easy to use and with a steady exercise regime the app allows and adjusts for calories out, calories in. So if your looking to trim down, maintain or build the app gives you a fairly stable baseline to work from. Copy and paste function from previous days would be handy to enter the same meal at different meal times but otherwise it’s a solid app to work with.
Does all counting wish you can see other days but I understand you need money

I have started my journey on 2 August 2021. I weighted 67.9. I decided to lose weight. My goal was to lose about 9 kilos in one year. My plan was to lose 500 grams per month. I did not want to lose too much at once because my plan is to re-educate my eating habits. I want to eat well forever. First I started to log my foods. At the same time i was researching for healthy food options. I cut off from my daily food all kinds of industrialised food. I chose and still prefer greens, lean meats, fruits and everything that is natural. I also included tofu and soy milk because of my age and gender. Then, I started walking everyday for at least 7 km, which takes me around 60 minutes. I also included exercises called hiit. I found great videos online for free. But arise also offers exercises. It was important to reduce my portions to adhere to my personal daily calories. On 18 September 2021 I weighted myself for the first time since 2 August. I weighted 62.150. I could not believe it. I was shocked. I still have long way to go. But I am feeling amazing. I must say that it is important to take care of my cortisol. Whenever I am stressed or not taking care of my mindset it will end up looking for food. Now I know what triggers these feelings of eating without even being hungry. I know how to revert them. I know how to cook healthy food. It is actually fun. I leaned to go out prepared so I don’t get trapped. I have a long time to go. I believe in myself and I know that I am capable to do it. Arise helped me to understand more about the food I am eating. It is easy to log. What I like the most is that arises gives me prizes for my achievements. I hope you give yourself a chance!
