School Assistant by Sun Apps is a simple but powerful school planner app. It allows you to quickly and easily keep track of your homework and tests, manage your schedule, save all your class info, quickly access saved websites, and more.

First, as a student myself, I know how hard it can be to pay for these types of apps. So, School Assistant is 100% free: no subscriptions, no paywalls, no premium features, and no ads! There is a tip jar if you feel like supporting, though (these are the in-app purchases the App Store shows).

Schoolwork:
- Manage your upcoming assignments and tests
- Sort by due date, class, category, alphabetically, or manually
- Add a related class, due date, links, and notes
- Schedule reminders
- Highlight upcoming and overdue schoolwork
- Keep an entire archive of your completed schoolwork
- View how many assignments/tests you have right from your Home Screen with Widgets

I love this app, it seriously makes it so much easier to stay on top of my schoolwork. I got it in junior year and it was amazing. Since then, they’ve updated it to where you have to hold down the assignment to check it off, rather than just being able to slide. It honestly makes it so much less enjoyable and i feel less motivated to do my work. Can we bring it back please??

I absolutely love this app and use it everyday. The syncing between all of my devices is super helpful and works every time. One suggestion I have is to add holidays so that the timers aren’t going down on those days off, but that’s no big deal. Please download and support!

How do we use this app if our schools don’t use google classroom? It isn’t compatible. It would be nice to be able to insert our own classes and times for schedules instead of having to have a google classroom account because my school doesn’t use that.

I love this app. It’s amazing for organizing all of your assignments and tests, and it keeps things minimalistic. Not only can you customize the app icon but also the actually color of the home screen of the app interface. I also LOVE how there is no subscription to get better options. You get everything you could want for FREE! I recommend this app to anyone in classes that feels that want a way to neatly organize their schoolwork. I promise you will not regret getting it.

Good planner, but I wish there was a separate page for tests and homework. The dashboard shows the number of assignments and tests, but tapping either ‘assignments’ or ‘tests’ both bring you to to the schoolwork tab, and not separate tabs for each. Schoolwork tab gets a little crowded if you put in tests for the future. 
Other than that, love everything!

I am very into writing and organizing my calendar. However, this app is way better than my tried and true paper calendar with pretty pens. You don't miss any assignments you might not have been able to move over to the correct page, update the tests without erasing, it self-sorts the assignments from priority and from assignment v test. I love how simple and accurate this app is. I literally love it
