Very frustrating. Every time our school posts a new item we get a notification. If we try to open the app to see what has been posted it just stick on spinning wheel, it won’t do anything. The only way we get information is to delete the app and reinstall it. It works once reinstalled until the next time the school adds information. Perhaps this is just an issue for Apple phones but we’ll be lobbying the school to find a more functional software.

Also clearing – pressing the X button on a post should clear the notification – currently bearing a notification items and clearing/deleting a post at two separate things where they should be one.

This requires too much management of notifications by users and it generally confusing. 

And as mentioned by other users – tapping a notification – in iOS notification centre – does not open up the specific post. 

Also the ordering of the posts seems random – not in chronicle logical order and with limited ability to filter – only text search and not any other metadata including date

I don’t get notifications from the app, I’m missing events at the school and notes that I’m meant to sign and make a payment for. 

The app regularly logs me out. 

I can’t make a payment that isn’t in the system, trying to pay school fees and it’s not allowing me to. 

The old system through the government schools website was much better.

We receive school related info on this app (news menu) however these messages are not sorted by dates and get lost very easily. I am not confident anymore that I am getting all notifications from school.

There is no way we can provide feedback from the app. 

When there is a notification, we click on it, it just goes into the app and leaves us with some random information. It doesn’t take to the relevant notification. 

Al the notifications in the app aren’t in the proper chronological order.

The parent portal is so easy to use, all permission notes can be submitted online, keeps record of any payments ever made to the school, easy to select things to pay and quick tap to make adjustment to amount if you need to just pay a deposit. It keeps communication from school organised in one ap. Love it.  Would be good to be able to review the original permission note content, I’m sure this development will be in the future as this product just keeps offering practical solutions to families and schools.
