Things you need to know:

• Your school must be subscribed to School Gateway before you can use this app

• Your school controls the information shared with you

• To register/login, your school must have your email address and phone number on their system. If you can’t log in, please check these details are up to date at your school

• Your account will automatically display information for multiple children /schools as long as the schools use School Gateway. Please check that your email address and mobile number at all your schools match

• You must turn on push notifications for the app to receive messages and updates from your school

We are forced to use this app because school does not accept cash. One day instead of making a payment for the school meals by card I just tried one click payment option and did not realise that I was setting up a direct debit. I decided to cancel the direct debit but let my bank to proceed with the payment and then cancel the DD. The money left my bank account but has never reached the app. I got in touch with my bank but they advised me to contact the merchant. Not sure how this can be done. Besides other negative issues, like no cap on the amount spent, I cannot give a positive review!

Will not send me notifications of a message. Drove to school, waiting for my child, only to check this app to find they messaged me 1 hour ago telling me my child has recieved a detention. Why does it not come through as a notification? And yes all my push notification settings are on. I work with phones for a living, i know how notifications should work. This app is just low tech, clunky and has no right to be ‘the preferred’ app for schools.

Every time I open lunch payment page it pops up a cookie reminder. Every time I start selecting meal it does it again. I accepted cookies, I rejected cookies, I saved my choices - nothing helps. Fix it!

Unusable, cannot simply select child dinners as the annoying cookie banner overlay covers everything each time you select a day and you cannot accept/decline it. It simply does not work.

Have always found it clunky booking school lunches, but it worked. 
However the latest update means I get a cookies permission pop-up message on every click and the app is very glitchy, pages don’t load etc. I’m just so bored of poorly designed apps and badly implemented updates. Needs sorting.

The app as it is works fine. 

Would be good to allow users to be logged in on more than one device so that both parents can receive messages at the same time. 

It would also be good if users could access user name and PIN from their keychain.

School has went cashless and insists on using this app for payments. Worked well for 2 weeks and now it won’t let me log in. Saying Ive used another device previously (when I haven’t) and can’t use another, details  not valid or matching with school… when they worked before!! 
Other child’s school uses ParentMail which is far better and never a problem.

Is it the developers? UX? Who plans when these clubs go live on your app? 

When the school clubs open it is always scheduled to open at midnight for our primary school via your app. It would make more sense to open at 9am. This makes for very very poor customer experience as customers do not have a choice and there are children missing out on the school clubs.

The app has been very glitchy over the last few months - having been using for 2 years with no issues but during the last term of summer and this current new term it has been really slow and doesn’t type messages properly nor does it show a full message for some reason. It has the most recent update (4 months ago) and I have tried to delete and reinstall but that hasn’t helped either.

### **--- "Ok for topping up credit, poor for everything else"
It’s ok more the most basic of things like topping up lunch money or viewing reports or receiving notifications that is as good as it gets.

Anything else like adding/removing school, my daughter has left primary and I was still get all the notifications etc unable to remove the school, if I request a pin it’s linked back to the old school. 

Tried logging out and deleting the app in the hope it maybe just needed me to download and log in again however, the app isn’t showing anywhere on my device but in App Store it is installed so I can only use the app when pressing open.
