Description

Get audio visuals with your AUv3 host or the standalone app. Scope uses a two-axis graph to give a visual representation of a waveform over time, with the horizontal axis representing time and the vertical axis representing the amplitude.
Oscilloscopes are frequently used to assist dynamics processing and sound synthesis. It's usually placed last in the signal chain, so that it analyses the cumulative effects of any plugins placed before it. Like any analysis plugin, though, you can place it anywhere in the chain, to view the signal at that point.

Scope AUv3 Visualizer Reviews

Exactly as described

Simple and effective/useful oscilloscope. Works perfectly. Exactly zero frills! One frill I’d welcome: some demarcations for input level relative to 0db.

Full screen visualizer on my iPad!

Just lean your iPad on a speaker (or place elsewhere) and watch the show! Pure visual display with no indication of any app running. No controls visible! Just amazingly designed. Must be the best $.99 I ever spent...yup!

Unusable on iPhone X

Critical display info blocked by camera. Can’t escape live monitoring once started. Basically a UI fail when it comes to current iPhones.

Not enough standalone control

Why isn’t there a dead simple waveform viewing app I can use to make music reactive visuals? This app would be it but you can’t control the amplitude of the waveform when using your microphone, and apparently there’s no way to change the timing either to “zoom in” on the waveform. Both of these could be implemented with simple touch gestures.

Nice!

Great oscilloscope

Would be cool if you could change the color works very well with a small footprint.

Finally! I’ve been waiting for an auv3 scope like this 5.25.20

Holy hell. I’d like to thank and congratulate this developer on making an auv3 oscilloscope... Thank you. Congratulations! I’ve wasted money on other scopes listed for much more money. They may appear to have more functions however I did not find them practical and or responsive. The frame rate in this app is great and it responds very well. If my past self is reading this, buy this one dummy! How did you miss this? For under a dollar this is perfect. Developer - if you would like to keep us around and coming back for more, there are a few things I personally am looking for and safely assume others are too. An option to let the user add an x axis and y axis line for reference to the middle of the wave would be great for many purposes. Especially when patching synthesizers. Another very very useful function would be to allow the user to set the rate/time threshold to either speed up or slow down the waveform. It would be really useful. I was also looking for this in a scope. That being said. You don’t have to do anything because I gave you the 5 stars you deserve. I hope this review helps get you higher in the search results because I have been looking for a few months now. I’m happy I found you. I am no developer. At all. I stubbornly assumed this would not be too difficult to produce and sell, so thank you for putting it on the market. If I was a bigger jerk I’d lower the stars however that would be very misleading. This does exactly as advertised. I hate the reviews I stumble upon on the App Store that for example read : ‘’I’m only giving 4 stars because it’s missing a freeze/analyze feature, I’ll give 5 stars when it’s added’’. I would do this if it didn’t effect the money in your pocket. However I would love the option. I paid a great price for you programming a well preforming app delivered to a market that is severely lacking. I hope to see more creations from you in the future! Hope you’re well. Thank you again

After a few moments, it started working as an AUv3 plug-in

At first, it didn’t want to show up in AUM as an AUv3 plug-in, only an inter-app audio one. But with a re-install, it was working as intended.
