Score Creator is a music composition application that is specially designed for mobile platforms. It's a simple but powerful music creation tool that caters your need of writing music on the go. 

*** The app's user experience is completely optimized to make composing music on mobile devices easier and faster than ever. No more "tapping and zooming" the screen just to add a music note or a chord symbol. No more "dragging and dropping" from the palette just to add a sharp/flat sign. *** Apart from being a songwriting app for songwriters, Score Creator also functions as a music teaching and learning assistant tool for music teachers and students. Teachers can teach students how to read music notation by directly entering music notes into the app and playing back the song, while music students can practice by themselves by notating their favorite songs into the app and playing along with their own music instruments. 

*** The app is a perfect tool for writing different types of sheet music, including lead sheet, solo instruments, SATB choir, sheet for brass & woodwind bands, ...

This app is good enough but can you please make the controls and stuff more easier to understand? Like whenever I compose music there’s just a bunch of random buttons that don’t really tell the meaning of it. Instead, I’d suggest that you create a recorder that records you playing the piano according to your song. When the app hears the note of the piano it’ll automatically put the note there for you on the music sheet. If you don’t really know what I’m saying: just play your song with the app listening to it and then it’ll put every single note you play for your song onto the sheet and then print it out. Would that be a bit simpler for future-composers do you think?

This app is great when it comes to creating music, as you can make your own professional taste of music and it’s very fun and simple for you to use. But sometimes the app crashes on random buttons which isn’t really pleasant when it’s the play button.

Score creator is very fun and easy to work with when it is performing well, however, for many instruments, some notes don’t play at all, seemingly at random. After every time I play back the audio, a different amount and different set of notes across many instruments simply don’t play. Clearly this is some kind of bug that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

This is the best app ever 👏👏 but I have some problems.
I play the trumpet and like to write myself music 🎼 🎶 and my friend plays trombone but if I combine the two (and this happens no matter what instrument) then the Bb trumpet suddenly sounds like it is in C. It’s really annoying and I would love it if you could fix this. Thanks! G

I’ve been using it and I think it would be better if I’ll be able to change the tempo & composer information etc. after actually creating the score. Because I was a page through my composition and realised that the tempo is a bit off, but there’s nonway i can change it without creating a new score and redo everything. If that can be fixed i will be very grateful!

Pretty useful for writing down little melodies you think of now and then, but a mobile app will never be a tool for serious score writing. It has a simple interface, it’s easy to write small and quick things, and adding much more would make it too complex for a mobile app. There’s lots of instruments, most of which sound alright, and the interface isn’t full of ads or anything. 

Definitely one of the best if not the best apps for mobile songwriting, and as good as you’ll get for a free iPhone app. Can’t comment on the experience on other devices, but I’d assume it’s similar.

This app is always adding new features, there is currently a huge range of instruments and a bunch of new drums and cymbals have been added to the drum set, you can even write quintuplets! Sound design is the only part slightly lacking but for writing music on the go, this is the best of the best.
