## ScotRail Tap and Pay Description
SAVE TIME. Simply generate a barcode before boarding the train and Tap and Pay will do the rest.

BEST VALUE TRAIN TICKETS, EVERY TIME. Tap and Pay automatically finds the best price for your journeys, from Singles to Day Returns, across Peak, Off-Peak, and Super Off-Peak.

WEEKLY CAPPING. If you’ve made the same journey multiple times within a week, the total will be capped at the weekly season ticket price.

FUNCTIONALITY:
•	Use the app to generate a barcode before boarding the train.
•	The barcode will allow you to pass through ticket gates at stations.
•	A member of our onboard team will scan the barcode as your ticket.
•	When your journey is completed, Tap and Pay will automatically calculate the best value fare and deduct it from your account.
