## ScreenLogic Config Description
ScreenLogic Config allows you to configure your Pentair IntelliTouch, EasyTouch or EasyTouch Lite system from the convenience of your iPhone - locally or remotely!  A PC is no longer required.  The connection screen for ScreenLogic Config works just like its sister app ScreenLogic Connect.  ScreenLogic Config is great tool that allows pool builders and service personnel to better serve their customers.

### *---- "Don’t spend the extra $ for the remote"
If you’re having a pool installed ask your pool builder to throw it in for free because the app doesn’t work unless you’re connected to the same WiFi as your system. The purpose of the remote is to control your pool when you’re not home like heating your spa when you’re on the way home. You try to get in touch with pentair support and you’re on hold for 45 minutes just so they can tell you to download the 2nd app to make changes, so you can log in remotely, why can’t it all be on one app? Then you download the configuration app and its no use. I just think with the great products they say they have they can at least funnel some money into their application department.

The app works well for me but there is a bug on the “Setup Intelliflo” page.  The app only brings up the “Priming Parameters” page for the first pump. If you have two intelliflo pumps and select Pump 2, than scroll down and select the Priming Parameters, only Pump 1 is displayed. No way to configure those for Pump 2

My goodness, was this app created in the 90’s? I can’t get it to save my email address/alert selection. Come on Pentair, you are better than having a dos prompt app!

### **--- "Last update to app was 4 years ago!?!"
So, bought this set up and was super excited that I could now control my pool from my device. Has not turned out to be a wonderful as I had hoped. First, the wifi connection to the equipment wouldn’t work, in spite of the outdoor wifi connector being 6 feet from my router. Second, all kinds of stuff doesn’t work on the app. The time is off, the app randomly adds or takes away scheduled functions. Connection is spotty. And in case pentair hadn’t noticed, technology changes constantly. You cannot put an app out and never update it!  Four years since the last update is an eternity in technology. And you have many complaints on your reviews, so seems like you would work on the app occasionally. Disappointing. Would definitely not recommend to a friend.

Poor reviews are clearly due to lack of user knowledge. I install and program all types of pool automation. ScreenLogic configuration is a game changer for me, being able to utilize a remote app is HUGE. No fees for service calls. Pool builders and electricians call me at home and I can program form the office.  Difficult to grasp all the features of it unless Knowledgeable in equipment it’s designed to control and sufficient is an electrician.  Once properly trained you will understand the power of the automation system and the convenience of being able to change the setting remotely.

Can’t even set the system time. This app hasn’t been updated in 3 years. That’s an eternity in tech.

To see if it was still 2021 and that time hadn’t reverse back to 1921. C’mon! Why is set-up so hard? Why is the connection so unstable? Why is the user interface so Atari-esque? Merge or joint venture with Ring or some other company with decent programmers. Get real.
