## Screenplay Reviews in United States

### ***** "Screenplay is a game changer"
Screenplay by Black Mana Studios is an absolute game-changer.

The platform is clean, intuitive, and clearly built by people who understand storytelling and the creative process. Everything flows smoothly, making it easy to focus on writing instead of fighting with the software. Whether you’re outlining ideas or refining a finished screenplay, the tools feel thoughtful and purposeful.

What really stands out is how professional yet approachable it feels — powerful features without being overwhelming. It’s clear a lot of care went into the design and functionality. If you’re serious about screenwriting and want a platform that supports creativity instead of slowing it down, Screenplay by Black Mana Studios is well worth your time.

### ****- "Really Like"
I love this app. I can go in at any time and add to my scripts. The only problem in BMS tries to access my folder. It offers to tap Allow, but there's not one for Don't Allow. If this continues, I will delete the app.
-- snewks, 2015-03-11

### *---- "Concept"
I like the overall concept of this app, my main issue with it is that it hasn't been updated since ios6, so it looks awful, has no ease of use like apps produced within the last year, and completely needs redone so that it doesn't look like I'm writing screenplays in 2012
-- Ded He'd, 2015-02-24

### ***-- "Almost perfect.."
The formatting is off when exported in .txt. If exported in .fdx, you must purchase an additional app to view it on iphone..
-- Boyte72, 2014-03-20

### ***-- "More exporting options of files"
This app has a lot of potential but he needs more exporting options and more security on the things that is written
-- Itech1982, 2014-01-05

### ****- "Love it!"
This app is awesome! It took a little bit to get used to, but then it was great!
-- Danny 2 tones, 2013-07-23

### ****- "Interface"
Considering that Final Draft used you as a disposable first draft for developing FD Writer for iPad and seems to show absolutely no interest in expanding into the iPhone, this is perhaps your opportunity to merge the capabilities of Screenplay for iPad and Screenplay for iPhone into the phone platform. It would be nice to be able to place shots in my work, notes and more cleanly deal with (O.S.) notation while working on the iPhone. Yes, I do know the workaround, but why is workaround even in our vocabulary, when we just want to write screenplays? However, what you do allow us to do you do well, hence four stars. However, if Final Draft does decide to move into the iPhone playground with something that works as well as FD Writer for iPad, you're gone!
-- gnjdrylizard, 2013-05-08

### **--- "Updates?"
Would be a good app if the developer would ever update it for:
• iPad
• retina display
• iPhone 5 display

Until then, I wouldn't bother with this app. It's not been updated in nearly two years so support is clearly not a priority.
-- proudpom, 2012-12-28

### ****- "Retina"
Please make this universal and add retina support
-- gatsby express, 2012-04-16

### *---- "Garbage."
$5.00 for an app that is NOT made for iPad and does NOT keep the correct format when imported from Final Draft? Waste of $$$$. So many better options! I never write reviews but felt so cheated that I had to warn others to stay away.
