It would be nice to have just a compendium of the excellent KnoWhy’s. But Scripture Central loves lofty and wordy. Hence needless commentary. We rather read the Word itself — one chapter a day, let it drip over the heart, linger, savor, meditate, talk with God, listen. Elder Neal A Maxwell said, “Let us as Church members turn to the scriptures rather than to commentaries about them.” Scripture commentary is noise to me.
For me, this app and the work of all those involved in Scripture Plus are essential in my study of the “Come Follow Me” program. I love it every day. If I miss a day, I feel the absence.
I love reading the commentaries on scripture plus. They are insightful about spiritual as well as academic topics related to the book of Mormon. Of course, the primary reason I studied the book of Mormon is for spiritual guidance, but it’s also strengthening to have the extra academic research concerning the text itself. I am beginning to understand better now the difference between the small and large plates. It makes more sense to me after reading the commentary about the words of Mormon and the 116 pages that were lost, I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate this extra resource to supplement my scripture study every day. Thank you for creating this website or this app.

This app is absolutely amazing and I love it so much and I am so glad to have it.
Perhaps it’s just me wanting things to be too easy, but I would say having some audio in the commentary would be helpful. Otherwise I am happy with the app.
I am not one to write reviews but decided to take the time to say how much I love this app. I only downloaded it a week ago but have been using it multiple times a day. The linked resources to individual verses is so helpful! I had all of my teenagers download it as well and will be helping them to develop study plans. It’s fantastic!
Fantastic resource! I would totally recommend. It’s really helped me in my Book of Mormon study.
This seems to be a great app, but a tutorial needs to be added to show how to navigate. I wanted to find info in 2 Nephi 20, but just went hither and yon. It is frustrating.
My Dad let me know about this app and ever since I’ve used it along side going through Come Follow Me. So great!! Especially through the Isaiah chunks!! Thanks for putting the time and effort to put this out there!!!
